Likin' the doctor, hatin' on the office staff. They yelled at me for calling.

Hello! Yes, I'd like to know if I have a broken leg! Pretty please!

And then the woman who does referrals and hadn't put it through yet yelled at me that it wasn't put in the right PILE ON HER DESK!!! Because, like, that's my fault.

HEY HEY!! I found my marathon pic!

Another lesson learned here is: don't wear your chip so high, big-time nip chafage!

okay, I'm about to do something I might end up regreting...too icey to run outside here this morning so I brought my stuff with me to work. Planning on gettin my run in during men's hoops practice, on our indoor track that might be about 0.10 of a mile long. Planning on about an hour, no idea how many laps I'll end up doing.

You guys can't use that nickel line - it's unoriginal! My line isn't original either, but the usage of the line is what makes it good.

Just added it up - assuming I do at least 2 miles tonight, I will crack 3,000 for the year for the very first time! I'm almost LLB (Lazy Like Baggs)!

kp - that sounds a little tortuous, 10 laps to the mile?! Sounds like something guys in the state pen would have to do in The Yard...careful you don't get shanked. And the typical warnings about the shower as well.

Flem - Your chip couldn't have been too high if the mats read it. Your bib number on the other hand...I'm just glad it's not blinding you by covering your face!

PTom - the trick to do is to have someone call on your behalf as your coach, or tell them your sponsors need to know the status of your leg.

Philly Pholks - My boy has been sending me updates on the qualification stunts for Wing Bowl...this is our annual tradition. I'm cracking up over some of these!! 20 ounces of maple syrup in 10 seconds? I didn't even know it could flow that fast!

Is that a guarantee?

Flem, nice pic.

KP, yeah our indoor track is 1/11 of a mile. Yikes. I haven't been so brave yet.

pacer - why I'm glad the treadmill is being delivered on Friday.

WOOHOO!!!

The rain yesterday/last night melted the rest of the ice. Which means I got to run, and a certain other beast got to run. Gus was so funny. Very cautious going down the steps and driveway, but once he realized he had traction he was all WEEEEEE!!!!! Lets go FAST!

And he kept looking back & up at me and smiling like "look at me go!!!"

dork.

okay...run cut short after 17 minutes due to a nosebleed. Feel my nose running (as is standard for a run this time of year) wipe it with my hand, wipe hand on shirt, look down blood.

damn cold, dry air!

Kath, I've had a cold for about a week now, combine that with the sudafed I've been taking, not being properly hydrated, the air being cold and dry, my nose is just dry. Just need to use the saline mist when I get home. thanks for checking on me though.
