Don't ya just want to throw something at the girl who is up and cheerful at 0400?

Ok... I've still been having ITB issues and me trying too hard too fast issues. Yes, I've been yelled at and I've taken it easy for a few days.

So I plan to get off of work and go to the gym and do a light workout. Prob. just some walking or eliptical and some weights. I'm gonna be a good girl and walk/use the eliptical/swim for a couple of weeks then start running again. UGH, but I am frustrated with it. I want to run!! Ok, end of rant.

Good runs/workouts to all this morning!

I'm planning on 6-7 miles tonight. Looks like we might be getting some weather later in the week, so I don't know how that might affect my running. Maybe lots of TM runs in the near future...

Morining luvs-

I was supposed to do 1.5 yesterday (wow, i know...) and 3 today, but I switched yesterrday and today because it was like 60 some degrees here! Will get in the shortie run and some walking time with Hank today. Also about to go upstairs and do some yoga. I need it.
This training schedule has me on 4 days. For a long time I was 3 days, but 2 of the runs every week stay really short. I think I'll like that schedule. I think it will have more flexibility... if I need to cut to 3, it should be fairly easy to tack those runs on to others and still get the miles etc.

Maria how you feelin'? I'm a little worried about you, kid...

Morning all. Yoga last night. Will hit the Tm tonight for 3 or 4ish.

FYI.... since a few of us mentioned this in the past few days....I really like the Runningahead mileage log. Their guy imported my coolrunning data yesterday, and I'm rather impressed with the layout and the features.

Hi kids -

Quick fly-by. Yesterday was an off day, my abs are still sore from spending part of Monday evening on a balance ball! I'm back at the gym tonight, will likely do the super-elliptical for a good long while.

Next ART appointment is Friday, I'm giving it until after that to even contemplate running, but my dad gave me an entry form for a 4 miler on 1/12. So we'll see...

Good runs to all!

Did 5 slow miles on the TM last night to work off yesterday's feasting. I didn't get all ten million miles done, Voo, so you can feel safe

Sleazy 4 later, followed immediately by birthday celebrating for my nephew.

Noni, I love how your dad is your race pusher. My dad used to run for fitness/stress relief at the gym but never did the race thing. He did a run/walk thing, and was pretty speedy compared to me.

I have packed my bag and today it is no excuses. I am either going to run (my preference) or hit the machines at the gym. Maybe both if I run inside. I've gained a couple pounds in the past few weeks so I really need to get my butt in gear and start exercising more and eating less. I've been lazy about tracking my food intake and it is starting to show.

As a one time engineer, I would guess that he wants to anchor the front of the TM (the lower end) to the floor, and will use velcro for that. Also to fasten whatever is propping up the back to the TM and the floor.

PC beat me to the immature reference. Isn't it Friday somewhere?

I'm taking a day off work. I am hoping to take care of myself and not let this sinus mess turn into a cold. So I am skipping my 4 miler today and shifting it until Friday. That bumps up my Friday 3 miler to 4. I'll miss a day but oh well. Not the end of the world. I'll still get in 3 runs this week.

I still feel good about the 6.6 miles yesterday after work. My legs felt the best they've felt since the half-marathon, guess maybe because more than 21 days had elapsed since then which is enough time for all the healing to fully take place.

Weather is looking a bit iffy for the rest of this week -- chance of rain/ice/snow tomorrow, bleah, then late Saturday and Sunday isn't looking good. I'll substitute in fast walking as needed.

Got some pull up sets in before work today, plan to do more sets every 30 minutes when I get home. I've been doing them lately with my eyes closed, helps me visualize the back muscles, the lats working.

2 hours of cardio machine fun! Riiiight. Tonight, I get to do weights.

Litch: Vaseline (or bodyglide) is your friend. If I don't slather up my inner thighs with Vaseline before any run over 8 miles, it gets ugly, real ugly. Wearing jeans doesn't feel good for a couple of days. You don't need that.
