As far as running/fitness related stuff, any of you ever had a sort of delayed onset hunger binge after a race?

It wasn't until today that I finally got the big hungry feeling after Sunday. I've been an absolute pig so far today.

I'm like Nettie - I tend not to eat enough after a hard race because I'm not feeling so hungry, and I know that's not a good thing for recovery.

If I don't eat enough, I'll be pretty ravenous starting 4 hours or so post-race and that feeling will continue for at least a day afterward.

Hello,

uhhh, be careful with that.

I got 3 miles in over lunch as sleezy as I could do. That's my first three days in a row running in quite some time, but I wanted to get it in. Not sure how much running I'll be doing over the weekend, because I'm travelling tomorrow and then taking the family to Niagara Falls for the weekend.

Have a great day!

True Cus! Considering that, thankfully (or is that unfortunately) I didn't get in on much of the gropefest in Philly (oh, sorry...I got my anatomical locations mixed up )

Bagged my lunch run due to a meeting... looking like a 4-5 miler with Jaeger this evening...

On a brighter note... my treadmill will be delivered next Monday - which is timely because it's my Birf-day

YES! I didn't feel hungry at all until lunchtime today. Weird. I'm not pigging out, but I definitely felt hungry for the first time since the run...
