Remember, I started going in and you flinched. Maybe thought something else was going on. Remember?!!?

Hey everyone-

Jenn's mom is keeping us scheduled to the second (argh! did I really need a wake-up knock this morning?!?! ), so I'm not remotely caught up either on today's threads or yesterday's, but I wanted to add to what I'm sure has been a chorus of nice things to say about this weekend. You folks are a simply amazing group of people, and I'm truly blessed to know you all. To those I had a chance to talk with: it was an honor. To those I missed: my deepest regrets. To those not present: I hope to see you soon at another gathering. You people rock.

At some point I'm going to have a moment to myself to read some race reports, write me own, and catch my breath....

I saw a quarter on the ground at about mile 22. Did Frankie have a hole in his pocket or something?

Colleen, I hope things are ok with your dad. Hopefully, he gets that checked out.

Hello all. Had an absolute blast in Philly. It's just incredible meeting new folks and catching up with others from here. Everyone is so awesome! Even Theia's beer bandit DH!

Not all of me has officially left Philly. I left some clothes in a drawer at the hotel. They're shipping them back to me. And the BLUE SHORTS OF DEATH are among the items left behind!

I'm very bummed about the race, and not necessarily thinking I just ran into bad luck. I'm very much questioning whether I broke down mentally, fell apart physically or succumbed to injury. But I reckon that's for another thread.

Clare,

I'm sorry about your dad.

your pal,

oache

ps....rubbing baby bellies is kind of creepy.....I'm into old fashioned groping.

Dell has a quick turn around for replacements... at least with the level of support my office has...

We just got a brand new server, and one of the hotswapable power supplies was DOA. I used their instant messanger app to report it. I had a new one next business day. I was able to multi task while I communicated the issue with the tech, and I saved the world...

Not that I'm promoting Dell... lest we forget that the part arrived DOA - which says very little for their Quality Controll. There tech support was OK tho. Hope they can fix your monitor quickly!

dude,

I fixed it. It wasn't my screen. It was my docking station.

woot.

your pal,

I had a server with a disk failure Sat morning. 3 hours later, it was waiting for me at the office. I swapped it out after CoachT dropped me off at my car, all was back to normal before business hours on Monday.

Glad you can see the pictures with proper reds, oache.

You threw me off!

And on that note...
(((Voo)))-- I'm busy reading up on all the Philly Phrolicking, but just had to pop in to say...

OR you're just a damn good runner who had an off day.

AND may I add, that it's a off day for you, but ya know, you still ran a marathon, sir.

That ain't nothin' either .

I hear ya man! It's hard not to be bummed when things don't quite go your way - but - I seem to remember you having a great race about a month ago.

Bad races suck... but they happen to all of us. Learn what you can from them, but move on, and don't get discouraged. In terms of racing - Philly is a mark on your race calander - as I recall - you had a great race at the Pig, and at Akron?

Time now to recoupe -- maybe you can make it all up at Athens with some of us who are trying to get there
