I could swear I posted this morning! oy!! Anyway, I ran another 2.52 miles on the TM last night & tonight will do some crunches, pt exercises with weights & stretching. I think I have a good attitude towards this 5K tomorrow. I am just going to go for finishing without any walking, & not worry about the time. I think the slight uphill will help me keep it slow in the beginning.. which I need to do.

Today I about had a heart attack when the HVAC guys showed up. Well, when I got back from lunch, I saw a few trucks from the HVAC company out there... bad sign. Sure enough dust was pouring out of that vent above my desk again... so I took a couple of hits on the inhaler, & suck on some mints, & it seemed okay again. I feel ok, so hoping that I'm healthy enough not to let it bother me. Think I'm going to talk to my boss again about moving desks on monday.

Tammy/John - see ya tomorrow!! can't wait to see what time Tammy gets & me too .. excited about running this & having a new starting point in my running.

Good luck tomorrow Linda and Tammy! John doesn't need any more luck; he always gets the goddesses...

3.5 miles at 7:44/mi. It really was 2.5 slow miles, plus 1 mile thrown in at around 7:00 just to see what it was like to run fast again. I also wore my racing shoes. They felt great. That made me happy.

I like Econo's diet; everything in moderation.

see you in the manana Linda! You'll do great! You've been running well and I think you'll surprise yourself at the 5K tomorrow. I expected the rain to start by now, so now I'm not sure what the weather will hold. And I have about 3 different combinations of clothes out depending on what it looks like when I get up. Summer racing is so much easier.

Labduck - glad your runs have been feeling good. And I'm sure you were like a kid in a candy store with your racing shoes and speedy running! Can't wait to hear how your 5 mile goes on Sunday. Good luck!
