I will come to fish, but I am not bringing a fishing pole. This is how I like to fish. On a boat with a cushy seat, cooler filled with adult beverages and a book. A fishing pole just ruins everything. Than I have to move more than the required hand dipping into the cooler for another beverage.

We can SO TOTALLY fish together!!!

B and I have the B and book club. He goes fishing, I go reading and bring the camera. Works out beautifully.

However, I would like to state for the record that I can bait my own hook and remove the fish unless it is significantly larger than my hand.

Tim - Happy Birthday. Roll Tide - there I said it, only because it's your birthday.

I am! I am!

Man, at 6:30 this a.m. the power went out in my section of town. All out. It was like, inky black dark. I managed to get DS to the school for the zoo field trip (I looked like Stir Fried Shrek, I might add) and then went back home to put on make up --- by candlelight. Then in the sideways rain my umbrella wouldn't open. Bah.

But now I'm here at work. And all is well. Reading through the posts totally ightened my mood. Thank you to all of you for taking care of me and my emotional state.

Litch - that is why I don't weigh myself. Don't be a slave to the numbers. 3 pounds could easily be water weight.

Duty calls. Back to work. More later.

Thanks Maples...but, since my dad is in town, if we get home early from the motorcycle races, some work time might be done on that bathroom.

Thanks everyone . . . we'll do one of these at lunch

I went back and tried too! I still see clockwise.

Mary since I got caught paying a little boy $5 to reel in the fish and gave the fish to the boy, I haven't been invited on too many fishing trips with T. I think I am the perfect fishing partner, I don't complain unless we run out of beverage.

Morning. Got a nice 12/4 double in last night. My first long double in awhile. I think I like this doing a marathon six weeks apart. Not as much hardcore training for weeks on end.

I must admit though, I'm getting super sick of the rain. It's rained here 17 out of 19 days. We've gotten almost 19" of rain in the last three months. This summer I went two months without mowing the lawn because it was so dry. Hard to find a dry pair of running shoes. I'm breaking out the retired ones.

Winter - Yeah, too bad the Wild are 5-0. It's about time we get a team that actually plays good hockey. Oh, shootout losses don't count. That's not real hockey.

Yep, me too. I was a guy last night pull a bass out of the lake I was running around. He was committed to fishing, it was freakin' pouring out.

Thanks KP, I know that that was really difficult. Kinda like Maples admitting that he would put on a MSU jersey for Flem to celebrate another child if he had too.

BTW, didn't you mention that you have Alabama relatives yesterday? If you ever get down for a visit, we'll try to hook up for a run...It's really fun down here in the August heat! like running in a bowl of soup!

I got her to go both ways.

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!

So weird. I also cannot see those Magic Eye things. I never did see the sailboat

My brain is not wired for these things.
Are we still talking Clockwise and Counterclockwise? Or is only the counter involved now?

yeah, all of my dad's family are in Alabama - one cousin just sold their house in Vestavia Hills, rest of the family lives more north: Cullman - Vinemont area.

Colleen - this is awesome!!!

They say Lake Superior is up at least 6" from all the rain. I'd like to remind everyone that Lake Superior is a frickin' big lake.

And, Baggs - he might have been committed to fishing but you were RUNNING in that weather. . .
