Hi 30s, hi Jen!

Didn't run last night. Now i need to run tonight, tomw and Sun. I think I'm running a 10K in Dot (Firefighter's Run) on Sun...will probably meet Chris the Wheeler, fort hose who venture into the PRT and have seen his posts.

Interview went well. I think I kinda sorta want the job. It makes my tummy hurt thinking about it though. I don't like change.

About the interview...the VP asked me if I'm ambitious. That's a hard question and I wasn't sure how to answer it. Because I don't think I'm very ambitious, but how do you say that and make it sound reasonable? I said, "well, I'm not going to tell you about my work. I run. I'm not a very good runner. I'm actually a really bad runner. I'm really slow. Really really slow. I actually won my age group in a race a couple weekends ago because of a computer error and there is no way I would have won otherwise. I'm slow, I walk, I'm not very good at it..." [VP says, "but you enjoy it."] "yes, I enjoy it. I do. But more to the point, no matter how slow I am, no matter how hard it is, I would never NOT finish a race. I don't give up. My running friends tell me all the time, other people would have given up on running a long time ago, but you keep at it. So, I guess that's how I'm ambitious. I keep at it and I always finish."

(that only sounds Fridayesque, because it IS Friday, now get your dirty little minds out of the gutter. )

So, thanks guys, I worked you all into my interview.

Could NOT keep up with you folks after I got home last night. I went out with the lovely Diane; we went to Style Fixx...one of those gril's night out events, like someone else went to this week (only we paid $30...but the swag was pretty good.) Funniest moment is when we went to dinner and Diane was poking around in her bag o' goodies and said, "what's this?" She started to pull something out, then stopped abruptly, and said very quietly to me, "it's a thong!" There was one in every bag, although hers was prettier than mine.

Beautiful babes around here...oh and Dan and Bob's little ones too!

Scratch...PEER PRESSURE PEER PRESSURE PEER PRESSURE!!!!!

Family: my mom's dad died when she was 5. I don't really know any of her family. I couple of random cousins here and there, but no one close. Evidently there are some. My aunt (her sister) only has 2 step daughters, who are estranged from her, inheritence issues when her husband, their father (my uncle) died. On my father's side, a lot more, we're Italian, everyone's a cousin, but my aunt, his sister, only had one son and he died a few years ago, so I have no blood related first cousins now. I wish my family was bigger.

I am verbose this morning. At least I'm feeling better. Money issue is getting cleared up and health issue...well, it's probably not one, but even if it is, it's probably not serious. I'm ok.

I'll check in later.
