Oh, and to all the parents: children's medicine recall story:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20071011/...FsIF1wdf4E1vAI

Not at all like my children's toy recall story:

Good Morning.

Happy Anniversary Theia and Mr. Theia!

Scratch: GAH! hate hate hate spiders.

Welcome Runnin from the Law.

Cute puppy Winter!

{{{ Sara }}}

{{{ Diane }}}

Brandy: Cool. It does sound like I'm where you were a couple years back. It sounds like your training this time around is going quite well. I'm in no hurry to run a full at this point.

Clare: You totally earwormed me with the teapot song! Argh! Cute pic of Lena!

Did 5M east this morning, though I was just not feeling it. I can't do my LR on Saturday this week, so I was going to move it up to tomorrow, but now I'm not so sure.

QOD: Tripe, twice. Loved it the first time, hated it the second. Uni. Ewww. Whole deep fried prawns (eyes and all). Who knows what else for Dim Sum in NYC's Chinatown -- my ex's grandfather ordered in Mandarin. (I think. Maybe Cantonese.) Weird kp, I just had pit BBQ'd goat for the first time a few weeks ago. And I remember the garbage plate discussion from CR...I still need to get me one of those.

And Mandy, no Reaper behind me, true. Unlike this unfortunate Ultra runner:

(((Diane))) Hopefully the craziness here will pick you up.

Just found out that my dream job, for which I am perfectly qualified (at least as far as the ad says) has scheduled interviews and didn't call me. Ok, so that's bad enough, but I found out b/c my friend WHO DOESN'T FIT THE JOB DESCRIPTION got an interview. Feel like crying, but just can't make the tears come. Also, I can't make the changes that one of my committee members wants me to because my statistical model blows up if I try. Professionally, this has not been one of my best days.

Hope everyone else is having a good one.

Our local Indian place always has goat curry on the buffet. It's ok...tough and boney, so I don't usually bother with it. I prefer the veg dishes there actually.

{{{Diane}}} - Thanks for the grater/slide. That's kind of what happens when an adult tries one of those, right? Or is that just me?

Scratch - what is it that you do again? I want those kinds of moments at my job, for sure!

Lori - I meant to say from yesterday - The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. An awesome adventure/mystery. Anyone on Goodreads? My friends and I are on there and it's a great way to see what people are reading to get ideas...

Radiohead download! - Very good...thanks to whomever made me aware of this a few weeks ago...

Trevor - I'm registered now.

Hi Maria!

Hi everyone else!

I did another section of patio, now must cleanup, run some errands and wait for the people who will be showing up to do the closing for my refinance...YAY! Cheaper mortgage, I'm very psyched.

And tonight is Help the Bride Relax Night, so I'm not sure I'm going to get a run in anytime today. But I banged up my knee last night (tile, me, bathtub - not a good mix apparently), so it probably would be smart to give it a rest anyhow...

Have a good day all!

Colleen - since I spent all morning with "This is me in grade nine, baby" in my head, I'm sure the teapot song is next. You've got horrible, horrible suggestive powers! Cute baby, by the way!

THat Javelina Hundred is the race that Hippo is coming down to run. Was hoping to get to meet him but its not looking like it as I have to work that weekend.

Anybody wondering what Arizona trail runs are like, theres a good example of our trail runs

i got a little crush on that big bite guy...also does the diner show. there is no explaining my crush tendencies. well there is, but it would take a while....

Winter: Comes from OG (original gangster), but can now be used to describe an all around tuff person.

Korbs: Anytime, homie.

Fishnets: Did not make an appearance. Found my tights in the shorts drawer. Partner does laundry and apparently...his earth logic says tights and hose and stockings are like pants. At least they weren't hung on hangers, I guess. I wouldn't have done that anyway. Wearing one of those short-ish 60's looking dresses with boots. Fishnets might have pushed the envelope a bit.
Naw!......but attendance in your class might have gone way up today!
