Good morning, TEAM LIT!

Mayor: Garbage Truck Racers don't actually blow their air horns for the world to hear -- only me and my peeps. As each comes by, I pump my fist up and down like a piston, or perhaps more like a grade schooler in a school bus on a field trip, and when the garbage trucks come racing by, one or two, but not all (usually there are 3 or 4 in all) blip their air horn so that only those in the proximity can barely hear it. We jump up and down while they wave back. Kind of a dance we do each Tuesday. So you could live on the route and never know what was going on.

Julie: Congratulations on the new job!

Beth: Tell Matt I said hello. Glad to see him getting back on the bike even if he's getting his wheels handed to him.

Me...

7 mile run early this stoopid-hoomid morning with 6 hill repeats in all:

o WU - 3.5 miles (including one pass of hill, and one mile long gradual incline that I charged)

o 5 x Hill (~.3 miles) w/jog back down recovery (1:59, 2:01, 2:03, 2:06, 2:07)

Not the workout I wanted but, after a rough night sleep, I came close enough to be happy with it.

Great day, Tri-peeps!
