I looked at it half a dozen times and wasn't sure if I should say anything.

Okay, and maybe a little tired and a little ready for Friday reader as well. Dang.

Yeah I deffo like to do it in the morning, but the whole waking up early thing isn't easy for me. Course I will be running mornings while it's still hot. I can't do all TM runs. No way. There is a 5:30 spin but I'd be cutting it close to get done, home and ready for work. It's easier not to have to drive anywhere. Plus, I want to do weights on spin day and since the gym opens at 5:30 I couldn't do both....

I definitely can't go home first. I change in my classroom and drive straight to the gym. I thought my friend from work was gonna flake on me but she came! It wasn't as hard as some of the spin classes, but I got a work out!

Anywho, I've not caught up yet, but once I get dinner made and get myself showered I will comment on others! Sorry to be so self-centered today!

Man what a day. We were slammed at work. I am finally caught up.

QOD I don't drink coffee. But we have a new worker in the office who owns a big Bunn coffee maker. It has like a double spot so that it can keep two full pots warmed all day. Needless to say the guys were happy to see him and his new coffee maker. LOL

I start c25k week 9 tomorrow morning. I am going to shake it up and set a distance goal. The 30 minutes would be so close to the "marker" I have in mind that I am going to go until I get to the marker. It might take 32 minutes but I will try to keep at it.

Had my online fantasy football draft last night. It was a ton o fun. Oh and got my new cell phone today. Dangerous stuff...... I must resist going online on that thing! But I want a new wallpaper. Gonna have to play around and see how to do that.

Please... more talk about Katholeenie's beasts!

I just got back from my Monday tempo run. This is the run that always kicks my ass every week. 8 miles today, with splits of 9:09, 8:49, 8:26, 8:22, 8:21, 8:38, 9:10, and 9:09. I was getting a bit winded there, and mile 6 was a little slow. But I'm happy with 3-5, so I guess I'll take it. I think I'm gonna sleep good tonight...

By the way, since I've been a bit out of the loop... what's the latest news on Eugene? Anyone making definite plans, or is it still too early?

Ok need help. Can someone help me out on a good place to get cell phone wallpapers? I have never downloaded one before since I never used it on my old phone. But this new phone is nice and I want some sports type logos to choose from- ala my current avatar here. Something along those lines. Please give me some pointers. Thanks! (goes back to reading the new cell phone manual)

boB's apparently a more careful reader than the rest of us.

So, can someone please explain to me what happened to the old me? I mean even the me from a month ago?

A month ago I would have looked at the weather and said, "You know self, that's quite a wind coming off Lake Superior and boy, those clouds sure look they're going to rain. Why don't you just get a ride home and bike tomorrow."

Was that sensible person anywhere to be found this evening? Huh? Huh? No. What did I do? Yes. I biked home from work, into a cold headwind off of Lake Superior and with more than half the miles in rain. I still can't feel 4 of my fingers. 16 miles.

And, yet - I'm pretty damn proud of that accomplishment.

Regarding the B-E-A-S-T-S.

I guess my brain had a Freudian slip!

And for McTortle Re: the ride home. Better get used to that cold wind coming in off the Lake. It's a sign of things to come over the next few months. Heck, I saw my first leaves that have changed color this past weekend. Just a few patches, but Old Man Winter is on his way.
