Might I suggest a recipe thread? We have so many and this way we can easily go back and find them...I'll start it and copy <span><b>Maria'</b></span> mac n cheese (I'd also love to see the Pink lemonade cupcakes on there <span><b>Maria</b></span>!!!)<br><br><br>

Figured I'd better pop in now, otherwise I'd be so far behind this afternoon, that I coudln't keep up with what I wanted to say to folks!<br><br><b>Moe</b> - Happy Anniversary! Whether ya celebrate it or not, 13 years is quite an accomplishment!<br><br><b>Maccabeth</b> - Glad ya enjoyed the concert and still made it to work on time today! That sucked!<br><br><b>Brandy</b> - *Cheers* for turtle rescuing!! You're quite right that the turtle OR a human could have ended up with a really bad day in that setup, but I was most pleased to hear that the turtle reluctantly agreed to his relocation process. A few years ago, Radioyada and I were driving down the road and found the biggest turtle (barring TV stuff) I'd ever seen. He was perfectly fine, but was going to get smooshed if he stayed in the road. Like your incident, this guy was a snapper, and he was NOT happy at all. Needless to say, after seeing him literally break some thicker tree branches that Radio used as tools, I have a whole new respect for snapping turtles. Those guys are bad asses!<br><br><b>Melanie</b> - boo hiss on the tendonitis<br><br><b>Winter</b> - Hershy's Chocolate Factory? I'm jealous!!!!!<br><br>

<b>Heather</b>-I made the Pink Lemonade Cupcakes. I went ahead and went full strength on the lemonade. They are pretty tart and it sneaks up on you after the first bite. I think they are delish. My two dds said they are too sour and dh liked them. I may have to bring some into work to get them out of the house.<br><br>
Did anyone take pics at the <b>llbrunchberg</b> meeting?<br><br><b>Theia</b>-Yes, we watched the roast. Brutal stuff but funny. Dh was alternating between cringing and laughing.

I have a suggestion for another thread too. I saw <b>kj's</b> post about dieting and I will be buckling back down (hopefully) in the next couple of weeks for my never ending battle with the last 10. Would anyone else be interested in a thread on weight loss/diet stuff? I know it helps me if I have to be accountable.

Off day for me.<br>
Just back from a looooong schweaty hike with the pup. Learned that while he's a sweetie 99.9% of the time, he does have it in him to do that <b><i>snarly snorting back up off my Roo</i></b> thing... Do not know what the devil that was all about. We'd passed lots of people, two dogs barked at him, we even passed several men who said, 'hi' and he was fine. This guy however, just really musta had some bad dude juju....<br>

In running news, my boy josh ran this race a couple-a weekends ago. Thought you might all find in interesting. Its a real live bad ass Alaska race in a series of two other bad ass Alaska races. Couple of the top finishers I went to high school with and josh is up there also. Also running related, I'm on a new plan that will help/force me to build a base slower...something I'm not so good with. It is also pup/cross training friendly.<br><br>
Sara: that totally sucks. esp the car one... I HATE to be slowed down by a car that isn't running...that said, i don't like to change cars a lot either....<br>
