Good morning, folks. Fort hose who haven't seen it yet, I wrote up a Race Report from Deadwood. Be warned, it contains a bunch of really big pictures.

I haven't done anything physical since I got home. Today I'll try to either hit the gym or go for a very short run. One of these days I gotta get my bike out of mothballs. So much to do...

Morning.

Lovely 5 miles here. It's cool but humid, and now both my feet hurt.

Stupid barometer.

Morning!

Hit the park with Kelreh and little man yesterday, I would say I ran abuot 3.5 miles or so. Then did back and chest P90x. Much better this time around Plyometrics tonight.

Morning boB and Kath and everyone else to follow...

Had a meeting last night so no run, but yoga tonight. It is crazy humid here! Welcome to summer in SC, I guess...it's going to be a summer of slow, sweaty runs methinks. (as long as I can keep myself running, I'll be happy with slow, short, and sweaty...)

Not much else to report. I feel like a slug...

It's warm and muggy here. T-storms are due later. I got 3.2 miles, plus about 0.5 walking (not quite planned but oh well).

It won't even leave the 60s here. Bah! I suppose the happy side of that is that I can run much later in the day without it costing me too much.

Morning all! Sorry I've been AWOL for so long. Pregnancy plus my Back on My Feet runs plus lots of weekend travel and a busy month at work = not so much Maya around here. Hope everyone's been well! ((((anyone who needs them)))) And \m/ to anyone whose awesomeness I missed.

I've got bits & pieces of news to report. Sunday I ran the ridiculously sunny NY Mini 10K and once again completely forgot to coordinate with Maria to meet up before or after. It was the last race I needed to qualify for next year's NYC marathon. So... I'M IN! Post-birth training plans are pretty much laid out ahead of me. I'm very excited to have made it through all of the qualifying races with a little one expanding in my belly.

Speaking of which, the belly is definitely expanding. I'm going to order another maternity running skirt because I can barely squeeze into any of my pre-pregnancy running gear. The one I have from runningskirts.com is nice, but I think I'm going to try one of the BornFit skirts now.

1 mile this morning. Still taking it easy after putting in 11.2 this weekend -- 5 miles with BOMF Saturday (pacing one of our members through her first 5 miler) and the 10K Sunday. After I ran 2.5 Monday I was waddling from sore legs more than the pregnancy.

Seeing Maureen this weekend, Noni tomorrow night. Should be good stuff!

Happy Wednesday runs everyone!

morning

speedwork last night went pretty well. I started out getting .13 per minute and the last two were .16 mile. Then we went out for beer and Juicy Lucys ....hell yeah

2 miles recovery this morning - hyland ski hills tonight

I officially hit 1000 miles for the year with yesterday's run. woot!!

I <3 Litchy.

Morning all! Corporate Challenge is slated for this evening in Central Park - about 40+ co-workers and I will take on the 3.5 mile course and then do some post-race bonding over dinner and drinks. My co-worker buddy Schwartzy and I are planning to run together - should be fun!

Yay Brandy!!! And conga-rats Maya!!! ...did you already get the volunteering event squared away too?

Hi all - will try to squeeze something in today. The weather is miserable in terms of an it's almost summer viewpoint (drizzly and overcast) but I'm sure I'll be missing the coolness once I step off the plane this weekend.

Big ups to both of you Brandy and Maya (good seeing ya!)

Alrighty, good runs, workouts and/or rests to you all

hi maya! glad to hear that things are going well and that you're managing to continue with your running! keep it up, lady!

brandy- very impressive. you are putting up some great numbers!

have fun, maria!! i love your team shirts.. super cute!

i kept getting paged last night so at 5am, i finally said, "screw sleep!" and got up for my run. it was a gorgeous, peaceful morning and i got in 8.04 miles. legs and body felt sluggish but that was expected for having slept for what, 2.25 hrs total last
night?

Maya, I love your signature line!

Missy, I don't know how you can run on such little sleep!

Day 3 of training for Chicago and I have yet to actually run. Cross training, Cross training, Cross training. Inspired by Lora and Alexis, I may even start swimming.

1000 miles for the year, Brandy?!?! Dayum!!

Yeppers, Maria! I did packet pick-up at the Brooklyn Half. I'm in in in. Just a little matter of giving birth, training, and paying the fees. I seriously almost cried when I finished the Crazy Legs. Mostly since that race was so hard I thought I wasn't going to make it. Had to stop for water before we'd even gone a mile. It was far too hot for me.

Thanks, BigG, Moon, and Missy! It's good seeing you all again. I'll try not to be so much of a stranger. My house though is begging for me to spend every free moment in baby-prep land.

Awesome! Yeah that race is never in ideal conditions, always more humid than I'd like. I found this picture of me on the NYRR site from Sunday... me = death warmed over and it's only the first mile
