... I hoisted it up with an underhand grip, left hand only, and walked into their office/waiting room with the tire at shoulder height. I got a "GOOD GRIEF!!!!" and a few OMG looks from others in the waiting room, plus a wide-eyed stare from the girl behind the counter..

1) that's why I have a length of pipe in my car - so i can slide it over the lug wrench handle & get more leverage. (Does that count as a concealed weapon? <img alt="" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/wink.gif" title="">) We have AAA, but I hate waiting for them. Especially since I can change a tire myself.
 
2) RAWR! 
 
I get that look whenever I buy dog food and don't take the boys up on their offer to carry the 40lb bag out to my car. I just heave it up on my shoulder and walk out.

I like this idea. Doesn't have to be Bard planning it, but I think that would be FUN. Although I'd like to sleep in a real bed, please. <img alt="" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/wink.gif" title="">
 
Hiking: I used to go rock climbing often with oldest Brotherleenie, and we had to hike to the rocks we were going to climb. My favorite place to hike was probably in the Highlands in Scotland. Haven't been hiking since that trip though, cause it's rather pancake flat here. And working crazy hours didn't really allow for it.
 
 
Today - 2nd coat of paint on the walls. Now that it's daylight I'm REALLY digging the color. Still seems a bit intense when we turn the lights on, but... there isn't that much actual wall space, so it should be ok. heh. The half bath though.... I need something on the wall in there. Any ideas for potty art?

BIL (Dh's younger brother) & SIL had their baby this morning. She wasn't due for a couple weeks, but thankfully she went early cause baby was large, and Megan is only as big as one of my thighs. Anyway, Liesel Marilyn, 9+lbs. 
 
Marilyn is for my late MIL, but unless they've watched Sound of Music lately we have no idea who Liesel is for.
 
ANd WOOHOOO!! 2nd coat is entirely done. <img alt="" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/banana.gif" title="">
 
I think the half bath might need a 3rd coat though. <img alt="" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/huh.gif" title="">

 We love the movie and actually watch it every couple months or something. I'm guessing it's a family name though, because knowing B & SIL they wouldn't ever have watched it.
 
Have you tried saying Liesel with the 2nd half of my last name? Do it. Say it 10x fast. <img alt="" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/lol.gif" title="">

Bathroom art - I go to a lot of art fairs and often times take business cards for artists I like, so that when I have a need I can find people again. So I was just flipping through my little binder of artists cards, and came across one for a painter that I like. I bought a few cards from her that are small reproductions of some of her paintings, because I didn't have a need for anything at the time. These are the ones I got:

If they all went in the same direction I'd cut 1 matt with 3 holes and frame them all together. :sigh: I can (eventually) get a larger prints (14x11-ish) pretty cheaply, but now I can't decide which one... They're all fun - sort of quirky, with weird perspective & bright colors.
