Catching up. Saturday was a 10 mile run with Niki. Her, Suzanne and I are going to try to stay together for the half marathon on the 25th, but Suzanne may run off and leave us. I'm planning on running with the slower of the 2. So, if Suzanne takes off like I think she can, Niki probably won't be able to keep up. If you want a good laugh, check out the comments Niki made about the run we did..."If I judge my training this year on this run alone, yah I would stop running! Thanks to Michael-Tracy Hall for putting up with my whining, yes I was being a whiner, for pushing me till the end when I wanted to stop at 9, and for not yelling at me when I yelled at him for going too fast and then speeding up myself!! Haha! I will remember this run!"
The key is, she was yelling at me for going too fast, but I was letting her set the pace, so I found it humorous.
Monday was a 2650yd swim in the morning, that went very well. 8.8 miles running after work, followed by core.
Today was an 1800yd straight swim and I'm again thrilled with how that one small correction has affected my times, see below. This afternoon will be my first ride outside since 1 randomly warm day in January. I'll probably get 22 or so miles in with some intervals.
5:58.5 - 400 warm up,
14:45.5 - 1000 straight,
6:15.1 - 400 cool down.
26:59.1 - 1800 total.
