Nice job Brew Dad! Next time, maybe you should try throwing a surge in there to lose the drafter rather than slowing down to see if he'll pass? I think Fartlek or mid-session tempo runs are great for training your body to be able throw a surge in and recover without slowing down excessively. I especially like these on the hills as the mental aspect of watching someone else just pull away on the hills can just crush another runner's will<br><br>
Your time at the finish is what is important, not how good you look. I consider it a badge of honor to come into the finish looking like I'm about to keel over. Means I've given the race everything I had.<br><br>
