Ty-- YAY For no weight gain!!! Thanks for the shout out this am!!!! I had a hard time sleeping last night as well. We did have fun at the beach, but it was cold! Took DS4 over the Golden Gate Bridge and he loved it. He has seen it on Little Einsteins and was fascinated that he was going over it.

My next class is tomorrow, just in time for my muscles to be back to normal and they will be assaulted again. I am looking forward to it but dreading the class all at the same time. KWIM?

Question...do all of you take water or something on every run with you? I'm really bad about this and pretty much never take anything with me, but I know I won't be able to do that on my long runs much longer...I hate carrying things...

I take water on every run. I can live without it if it's shorter than 3 miles, but my body likes hydration when I run. A lot.
I can't stand handheld stuff. So I wear my Fuel Belt and choose the amount of bottles according to the mileage.

Last weekend when I did 10 I only took a little packet of sport beans with me because I knew I'd be out well over 2 hours....but I was definitely dehydrated. I'm just trying to figure out if I should try one of those bottles that sort of "attaches" to your hand or something to carry at my waist. I used one of those YEARS ago, but it bounced too much and bugged me....

oh yeah... www.bulkinup.com and tell them TY referred you so Ty maybe will get some freebies or discounts in the future... I can use all help I can get...

I was wondering why I was so yucky at the end... I think maybe dehydration and just "normal" carb depletion ?
I really gotta watch and try to understand those things... lemme tell ya, this has been the hardest part of the whole training to me.
I'm happy you're not having the same shitty issues I am.

Hi guys-

just wanted to say hello. I'm having a hard time right now with this whole knee thing. After my 15mi run Sat it just felt worse and worse and I haven't really been able to walk on it comfortably since. It's a tad better today and I even tried to ride the lazyman bike but there is a "clunking" or snapping feeling in it that is not right. I'm afraid to do anything else until I can get into the dr. From what I've read i'm pretty sure I have a medial meniscus tear and I'm just hoping that when I go to the ortho they tell me I'm wrong. Since it's a holiday today I haven't been able to see anyone yet but I'm hoping I can get an appt with someone this week.

Congrats to all the racers over the weekend! take care everyone.
