I think TY was referring to the fact that after Sunday's 'thon I've been pretty badly injured and in a general funk about it.

Last night was the first night I could get any sleep, today was the first day I could walk without (much of) a limp. I'm still living on Ibuprophen but at least I felt a little functional.

First day back at the gym: very cautious stuff. It will probably be weeks until I can run at all, but I carefully did a little incline walking at lower speed and angle than usual. It doesn't seem to have made anything worse so a little more tomorrow: baby steps.

I had to back waaay off on the weight for my normal knee rehab - 50 lbs vs 160 lbs. It felt OK to do more reps. I think I'll also set up to do them at home and try to get at least 2X per day sessions in. Leading up to the marathon I'd let these slip a little: maybe 3X per week instead of 6X. Don't know if that caused the problem or not.

Surprisingly, no post M weight gain or really any lost ground for sitting on my butt since Sunday. Usually a 5 day layoff puts me up 5 lbs. Thank goodness for small favors.

Pac Rim 24hr is off my schedule, Dizzy 50s too. I was going to send in $ for Mt Si 50M but will hold off now. If they haven't filled by late March then maybe. Still hoping I'll be OK for Eugene, but NB2V 100 mile in late May is probably out.

(sigh)
