Good solid weekend of workouts for me.
Sat - 15 miles with Tim, Danny and Jay. Then spent most of the morning and afternoon at the winter boat show, followed by a chocolate making class that was a Christmas gift from DW. Great day!
Sun - blew off the group trainer ride but did a 6 mile run in the early afternoon. Felt strong and ended up averaging 7:31 min/mi. That put me at 60.2 miles for the week.
Mon - Easy 2 mile warm-up, then 5 miles of fartleks and 3 miles of cool down. This was the first speed work I've done since last spring, felt it in the legs. I almost went down during the cool down when I caught my toe on a raised section of sidewalk. Felt my back twinge and was worried, but recovered and was no worse for wear.
