Peter....you have too much advice already. But, since my strategies are a little different than most, I'll share a bit about the driving forces of motivation. When everybody gets delusional at the start and tries to be Kenyan, stay true to your roots. Plod along slowly and think of something patriotic, such as krispy kreme donuts. Then, as you try to settle into your own pace, occupy your mind by trying to pick out the female racer with the best legs. That should get you to mile 20 if you really focus. Then, it becomes all about the buffet spread at the finish line. Think pizza....think cookies......think PIE. Hope this helps.<br><br>
