Hey all - I've heard all the experts say that a flu shot doesn't induce flu-like symptoms. I tell ya - I DON'T FARGIN' BELIEVE IT! I felt like carp most of this day one-day removed from my flu shot.<br><br><b>Beaker</b> - welcome back! And good to hear DH made off with some nice winnings there<br><br>

Ugh...does NO ONE want to win the NCAA football championship this year? Hi all - well, the flu shot effects seem to have worn out. I was reading all the literature a little more closely - I understood the body aches and the pain where you receive injections, but they said it shouldn't have anything to do with the runny nose & congestion that I was experiencing.<br><br>
Not sure if I should be productive today or not - my training trip is on Wednesday and it feels like I should be getting stuff prepared for that at the very least

<b>Beth</b> & <b>Tiff</b> - glad to hear your meetup went well. I'm sure when the BCS standings are announced, its going to create a whole heap of debate in SEC land as to whether LSU or Georgia should get that slot opposite Ohio State.<br><br>
I can't even imagine the outrage if some school like Oklahoma or USC leapfrogs into that slot against Ohio State over those two (don't see that happening, but you never know.)

Back from a rugged-terrain clothing excursion - got a nice jacket and other stuff from a North Face outlet near me, and a nice comfortable pair of hiking boots at the REI store nearby. This might give me an excuse to also get back to Yosemite next year (anyone wanna' come along?)<br><br>
Had a pretty yummy gourmet veggie burrito for lunch today - I need to try to try to acquire some standby veggie recipes that are easy to make, because I'm kinda' getting tired of the salad routine.
