...running today but I figured I'd start the thread anyway.

My race report is up.

Okay, I made it home. Traffic was bad, but not terrible. It's decent outside, so I'll do my first post-Philly run outdoors, as opposed to on the TM at the Y, like I originally intended. I have no idea how far I'll go. I'll see how I feel...

Woohoo, it's the long weekend!

I ran my 2 but not at 2, at 4 instead. It wasn't a fun 2. It was a 2 that made me think I shouldn't race tomorrow just run. We'll see how I feel tomorrow. No matter what I'm going, whether I go all out or not is the question. After all, I have to wear my turkey tail feathers!

Still working on my training plan. I think it will be easier when my Daniel's book arrives from Amazon. The Q1 and Q2 workouts are scarey looking. Luckily Phase I is pretty simple so I have 6 weeks to figure out the next 3 phases, lol.

I want more Philly picks. It made me feel like I was still there.

Just back from my first post-Philly run. I did 4.8 miles at a 9:20 pace. My legs felt a little heavy, but I made it thru it okay. No Turkey Trot for me tomorrow, so it'll be another off day. With this run and the recent marathon, I think I can gorge myself tomorrow without too much guilt.

Have a great night, everyone!

I'm not sure about that... I respect the Daniels plan... but it's not easy... I'm sure CoachT can help, he seems to have a good grasp on it

Snorting at Sage's top comment. Sage, you and your DS in tomorrow?

If Brandy shows up in pasties, she gets a quarter for sure.

So, a lot of us aren't 100% racing tomorrow, except LazylikeBaggs may be? I think you have it right, Brandy, I may try for a few more before the event to be sure I'm keeping on schedule.

See what you all have done to me? Now I'm runner-type-crazy-like.

Ran 3 miles today with a friend. FIrst post-philly miles... at least running (walked a whole bunch around philly on monday.) It was upper 60s and mild today. Tomorrow it's supposed to rain. I was gonna do a Gobble Jog, but I just can't imagine dragging myself out of bed to go run a 5K in the rain/cold. I think I've reached my limit of races in the cold/rain for the week!

Good luck everyone, though! Might do a few tomorrow if it clears off by noon like it says it's going to!

Time for bed!
