Late first post for me today. I had a really slow start this morning. I was about 30 minutes later arriving at the park. Didn't feel like starting week 5 of c25k but I made myself. I was so late starting the day that I did not have time for breakfast...<img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"> I just had time to make it to work by 8 am. So on my morning break I go in search of a sausage and biscuit.<br><br><b>QOD</b> Interesting question that I could fill many pages with my thoughts. One of my faults is that I am in a constant state of over analyzing myself- and doing so <i>until I find a fault</i>. Ugh I need to stop that and try to enjoy life for once. I still have not gotten it through my thick head that life does not follow a plan. There are no neat orderly steps or stages. But that conflicts with my parts of my personality- the organizing, and borderline neat freak. For example that means by age <i>x</i> I am supposed to be married; by age <i>y</i> I am supposed to own my own home; by age <i>z</i> I am supposed to have a certain dollar amount in my bank account. Of course all of these things have to happen in those time frames for me to be a "successful" human being. Anything deviating from that formula for success and I beat myself up. <img alt="cool.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/cool.gif"><br><br><b>Ok so to answer the question lol.</b> The main goal of my life really is to be married- NOT for the sake of being married but to find that one woman <i>for life</i> to be my best friend and companion for 50+ years. Basically for there to be an end to a lifetime of loneliness. I know if you asked me what I really wanted to happen by 2007 and I would answer "to be married". The second answer would be to own my home.<br><br>
Well I have neither. I rent a place and I am still hopeless with women. LOL so what's happening in 2017 anyone?..............<br><br>
Hope that was not too much information and I didn't intend for that to be negative or depressing. I'm simply always thinking about my life and trying to discover not only who I am but why am I like I am. Boy that's not very eliquent with multiple "I am's" but it's too early in the morning to be spiffy.

Sorry to hear about your friend <b>Tim.</b> You and his family will be in my prayers. While on the subject please remember my former pastor. He is in intensive care fighting for his life as we speak. <img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif">

lol <b>Ann</b> are you my female counterpoint? heh Our answers are almost the same! In 1997- I was a couple of years removed from the end of the relationship with the gal who I thought was "the one". I also was in a retail management background at the time <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif"> The question depressed me a bit also. Marriage is an unfulfilled goal. etc, etc.<br><br>
BTW Who do you work for? Just curious

Back to the Dark Side of the Moon we go. <img alt="notworthy.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/notworthy.gif"> Glad you liked the DSOTM icon. I'm happy someone noticed/commented about it. I'm not a Pink Floyd fanatic but I simply really enjoy that album. Most of it anyway hehe.

I downloaded a dvd of that combination. It's very cool. This video saves you the trouble of having to perfectly sync up your cd to the video. I printed out a list of "coincidences" to look/listen for as I watched. The second and third time through are real stretches with almost no synch-ups. Neat stuff really. I had heard about it for years but never attempted it "old school style"- renting the vhs and trying to perfectly time when you hit play on the cd player when the MGM lion roars the third time (or something akin to that).

Oh and in the spirit of compromise I decided to have both nachos and white salsa and popcorn- yes eating them separate. Eating salsa and chips then popcorn for dessert. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"> Can you tell I am not married and am in bad need of a good woman to keep my diet in line??????? <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif">
