Hi ROCKEN--thanks--and great job on your run (but you already know that )--glad you are feeling better! my ds has the day off from school too--so he has a playdate over--they are OBSESSED with the moon sand!

Running rest day, I have started doing sets of pullups and working on core training now. I had PT yesterday we are working on my ITB now my calves are no longer causing me pain, but I have some bursitis in the left hip, the PT used the foam roller and damn that can hurt…

I'm pumped for tomorrow's race. I don't want to be at work...

I swam this morning but felt like shit because I stayed up too late drinking Chianti and giggling with my sister. She is in town this weekend from Columbus, OH.

So that we have an excuse to drink heavily when we get home. And where is MY Johnny? Who is this stranger that is censoring himself ("f-ing"? LOL

I saw that. Daughters scare me. I didn't have a preference when my wife was pregnant, but I just don't know if I am scary enough for a daughter. You know the saying, when you have a son you only have to worry about one penis, if you have a daughter you have to worry about ALL of them.

I am going to try to be back down to my basic training weight of 235 by the time she is dating. And finish getting my arms covered in tattoos. That ought to cover it.

Batmomm- Morgan Swim School registration started this week. Do you have any advice for which class DS5yrs should take? They have the pricey 8 private lessons or the cheaper 8 semi private. Has the skirt come yet??

My twins are 11, fortunately they are in a very unsophisticated school and boys are rarely even discussed, other than to mention which is most annoying, dispruptive, or mean. I know the dating days are not far off though. I'm going to start collecting hunting knives pretty soon.

Got my Montrails yesterday. They're purty. Can't wait to get some trail mud on them. Maybe in a couple weeks...

JB- you're a nice employee!

I just had to call bag out of working tonight. I feel like a schmuck. DS7yrs is FINALLY getting his badges for cub scouts (which he was supposed to get 2 months ago) and someone has to stay with the sick DS. A PT PITA job isn't worth DS missing another activity (he's missed a ton lately because of my schedule). I know it was the right move, I just hate having to call in, especially since I didn't work much this week because of DH being out of town. Oh well.

Johnny- My dd is 11 too and she has already been asked by 2 boys if
she will be there girlfriend. yikess! of course she said no but it's already
starting and she told me the boys made a list of the top 10 "hottest" girls
in the class and she was #1 on the list. oh boy daddy told her she
can't date till shes 40 LOL! my dh's line is to furture bofriends is
"I won't mind going back to prision if I have to hurt you" LOL!

I know you hated making that call, Jen. But.... you'd hate DS missing his cub scout activity even more, especially since he's getting his OVERDUE badges! Monkey missed 2 cub scout meeting this week due to illness.

Finding balance is hard..... you are a GREAT Mom, Jen.

How's DS5 feeling? Vomiting stopped yet?

You crack me up, DB!! I have two dds (9 and 7) and I told my dh that he is in charge once they hit the dating age. He can be pretty scary so he will be in charge of intimidating the poor suckers who come to pick up our dds
