Fridays are usually my day off, but I did some stretching and core work just to get the weekend theme bonus points. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"><br><br>
I logged my points in the daily thread and on the scoring website, but wasn't sure how to log the bonus points on the website.
 
Hey all - back is still not at 100%, but I'm going to be doing a lot of yoga and stretching this weekend to help my back and get extra points for the alternate workout! I'm also planning on trying to get in at one walk/run.
 
Morning (late ok but morning)<br>
Yesterday was a scheduled rest day.....but I am heading down to the treadmill right now and will do some weights. I also may head to the pool later.<br><br>

Hey guys.<br><br>
It was one of the hardest marathons for me.<br><br>
But the rewards were nice. I got a nice girlie tech shirt. (sorry DH. ) I won a polartec fleece blanket as a door prize. Got a cool finisher's drinking glass. And the best part of all - a massage! His hands were AMAZING!!!!<br><br>
I gotta go home tonight, so I'm a little bummed.<br><br>
Oh yeah...this was the first race that I had to stop and take a crap.<br><br>
Umstead is so nice and beautiful. I am soooo glad I got to do this. It will totally help me for the 50. I am actually looking forward to coming back.<br><br>
Oh yeah...I finished in just under 5:30...my longest time.

Did a 5K this morning, but it was teh suck for me, a PR cause it's only my 2nd<br>
5K but it was rough. Also walked a couple of miles pre-5K. I'll report all that later cause I still need to do some Alt. stuff for the day.

As for the bonus points- I just put them down as race points- same amount of points for each. Remember- you can only use the theme points once this weekend.<br><br>
** If I don't see any points for the afore mentioned people by Sunday- I will PM them to find out what is going on.

I only got in some walking yesterday (1 mile) walking around downtown Atlanta...... Today was a bust due to some other factors. Tomorrow I will be running and hitting the gym to restart my weight training. Been way too long since I've done that which is why I joined VRAA this time. I need someone to be counting on me to get me going right now, I think! Maybe I should do some push ups while I watch tv for some extra bonus points?<br><br>
QUESTIONS: Do we get to log the bonus 5 pts for alt. workouts each time or just once this weekend?

Today really sucked. I worked all day and then went to the indoor track and discovered the whole university was closed for spring break. Went home to run on the treadmill and my power was out. Too dangerous outside with darkness and freezing rain and flooding. Finally the power comes back on but now it's the equivalent of 11PM (with pushing the clocks forward). So I'll try to do a double tomorrow (20 or more miles total) even if it all has to be on the TM!
 
Hi folks. I got in 35 minutes of yoga, stretching and core workout today. I'm going for my first run in a week tomorrow - fingers crossed that my back is happy about this idea. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"> I'm also planning on doing some more yoga, etc. tomorrow.<br><br>
In case you all didn't gather, I'm a badass-in-training, so my points won't be plentiful, but I'll try to keep them rolling in...

I ran 17 today on the trails but I fell and bashed my knee on a rock at about mile 2, finished the run but my knee is the size of an orange right now, which sucks since theres a lo-key trail race in the morning I really wanted to do.<img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"> I'm icing and hoping by morning it will have settled down and I can do it anyway. Cross your fingers for my knee!<br><br>
