DD3 was just telling me about her day at school and she said "I was running away" and I said "From who?" and she said "Myself" and I said "Why were you running away from yourself?" "So I could find a nice quiet place to wait" "Wait for who?" "Myself". So I summarize for her "So you were running away from yourself so that you could find a nice quiet place to wait for yourself?" and she said, "YEP!". Wonder who that one takes after.

Hi All!!!

Abbie - So glad you were able to get an appt. and DH agreed to it! YAY!!!
Heather - Nice to have a diag. Now you can work on getting better. Love the new avatar! DD and DS are beautiful. Tell DS he is DA MAN!
Nicole - Don't you love their logic?
Andi - Hi there!

Nicole - My dad is doing ok. He is home from the hospital and feeling better, but struggling with a lot of stuff. He has quit smoking and is now on a restricted diet. He does not do well with being "deprived" (which is why he is in the situation he is in). He is very edgy, but I hope it passes quickly. Otherwise, my mom might shoot him! J/K - she is a saint for putting up with him all of these years.

Andi-I hope things get better with your Dad. Change is hard, especially as we all get older.

Nicole- your DD is so cute! I need help. There is a weight watchers recipe that I can't find anywhere that I want to cook tonight- do you happen to have the spanish rice recipe? It has ground turkey, rice, chili powder, corn, and other stuff. I think it's one of the older recipes.

Hey, everyone!

(((Kitkat & DD))) Don't know what's going on, but hugs, thoughts, and prayers with you regardless!

(((Heather))) Catch a break, girl!

(((JB))) You, too!

(((Nicole))) Sinus infections are no fun.

(((Staci))) Hope the orthotics provide some relief.

(((Abb))) Good luck with the ART/Graston!

(((Ron))) Hope the office move goes well. Does this mean you won't be able to see the Queen Mary any more?

Gaela - Congrats on preschool! Who knew things would be so complicated so early in life?

Monika - Hi!!!

Ty - Hello there. Glad DD is better - She must have been ill???

Hi, Jen! Hi, Andi! Hi, Jeans! Hi, Cho! Hi, Ky! Hi, Kemp!

I'm sorry if I've missed anyone.

My dad's hernia surgery today went well. Hopefully he's on the mend now and his health worries are over for a while. My mom was a bit jealous because his health concerns outweighed hers for a few days. I'm sure she'll have a crisis soon just to assert herself. (Sorry if this wasn't clear - we had the heart procedure Monday, which turned out fine, paving the way to continue with the previously-scheduled hernia procedure today.)

I put a deposit down on a new-to-me car at lunchtime. I'll take it for a complete pre-purchase inspection tomorrow. It's not new, but it has 90,000 fewer miles than my car, so if the inspection goes well, I should be in good shape for a few years... it's a Subaru Legacy Wagon.

Snow, sleet, and freezing rain here for the rest of the week. Thanks so much for sending it over the mountains, Heather. We needed a little more winter! LOL

Jen, I am sorry but I can't find it. I gave away all of my WW start up stuff so if it was in there, I do not have it any longer. I have a cook book but it isn't in there either.

Andi and Fit I hope you dad's are ok. My dad needs back surgery soon but first he needs to meet with a cardiologist because something came up a little odd. Today he is getting fitted for a brace that he is going to need to wear after the surgery. I hate seeing my dad get old but like your dad Andi my dad doesn't like to be deprived and he isn't over weight but he doesn't eat well which has caused a lot of his health problems.

Fit we are moving to the 2nd floor from the 4th and I will be facing another way so today is my last day for a great view. I am just happy to have an office.

DD4 is feeling so much better that she's WIRED! The sad thing is that DS6 now has the pukies! AGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH I feel so badly for him b/c it's vacation week and we had all sorts of fun stuff planned. C'est la vie, I guess!

I'm tons better too, so I am going to RUN TONIGHT!! Not sure how far. I need to check my schedule and figure out how to get back on track!
