Good morning!

Ooooo, nice smilies! I'm going to shoot for the middle one today, having spent time doing the third one last night. I'll wear more clothes than the smiley while I'm running though.

Good runs to all today!

I don't know, Noni, the smiley doesn't seem to have a body...he can't wear clothes. I think it's just a head with arms for ears and legs for a neck.

Speaking of smileys, during the men's race this weekend, 2 guys ran the 5k in full banana suites, it was pretty funny. I think they had more trouble with the wind than most of us. DH didn't get a picture, but they kind of looked like this:

Now, that's a scary picture for all of you to wake up to. At least it's better than the banana hammock pictures.

Anyway, 13 on tap today. I think it'll be on the TM so I can mix in some hills. I've been bad about the hill work, it's just not fun I tell ya.

Noni, you're funny

morning!

I got more sleep last night than I've gotten in, um, YEARS, I think. So why was it that I woke up tired? TOO MUCH SLEEP! Yep, I think I need to get up at 4:30 every morning... I'm not as tired when I do

5 easy later today, after fitness club.

Good luck tonight, LL

Morning! Up this morning at 5 to get to the gym and run on the TM. I've formulated a plan to get back on track.... Birmingham won't be pretty, but I should be able to enjoy the ride, I think! The TM is sooooooooooooooooooooooo boring. How do some of you do it everyday?? I feel like I had a 10 mile run this morning. It was more like 3.75. Tomorrow's goal is 5.

Jenruns Nice banana! I think if I'd seen him I'd have to ask him to dance like our smilies! (Esp. the one that does the moonwalk!)

Alright, need to go dry my hair and get to work. Boo. Won't be home till about 8:30 probably. Happy Humpalump Day!

Got in my scheduled 2 on the mill this morning. pretty happy with that since i was feeling much more like a chimp than a champ this morning. finally just told myself..."its only 2, if you hurl you can stop."
Happy me... I felt better after I got in a mile and a good sweat worked up.
Off to pack my lunch and take the Hanker to dog daycare!

did 4 outside and then walked 2 - it was cold but not as cold as yesterday.
Also knocked out some body conditioning - I'm good for today.

You know what I love about getting exercise done 1st thing in the morning before work? Not only can I check that off the "to-do list" but I almost always end up wanting to exercise more after work. I get in a bit more than planned. Now if I could just win the lottery so I wouldn't have to work then I could exercise whenever I want to and not try to get up at the crack of dawn (and before which I really don't like). Ok, I'm rambling here....sorry....there was a point in there somewhere.

Ran 3 miles on the TM last night. Would like to point out that 3 miles is not the same as 1.5 just in case you were wondering.

Some of us are kinda starting over. . .

Pilates this morning...soon. Once I get me some breakfast.

Then there's a group run later. Not sure how far, maybe 10k? At least we're out of the deepfreeze. I chickened out the other night and didn't go. When they announced on the news that exposed skin would freeze within a minute I decided my warm couch was a much better option.

oops, I didn't see this thread when I posted on the "hump day runs" thread. Yoga and a short run for me tonight.

Out to test my sore knee and tush. Hopefully 5. Dr's apt this afternoon.

After my longest running break since the broken leg of last year, I got out last night and did 8.2 easy miles. It felt a little weird at first, but everything went okay.

Did some one arm negatives on the pull up bar this morning, along with working some isometric holds and negatives with handstands and my feet balanced against a wall. It's a different sort of world supporting all my bodyweight with just my arms.

got in a 3 mile run onthe mill last night. Tough one for some reason... followed by some weights.

I hate it when I hit the ceiling with the weight. I hate it more when I hit my knee and now have a bruise and sore spot!!

Morning, all--

Yoga last night, TM, bike and maybe some weights at the gym tonight. I want to be a lazy @ss, but I'll drag myself to school and get it done.

Morning, folks.

Yoga was on the plate last night. I'd planned on doing some weights at work and/or at home, but wussed out of both.

Planning on 4-ish tonight on the TM. "maybe" weights after... though I think I'm going to have to force myself to get over it and just get the job done!

Note to self - do not move to whatever town Clare lives in...at least not in the winter.

Hill reps today - woofrickinhoo!! It's a bruiser of a hill too, something like a 200+ foot climb in a quarter mile - if I run it very hard, my arse is sore for 2-3 days afterwards (No, CoachT, I'm not angling for butt huggs). Should be fun though - we've got 4-5 people probably showing, all in various levels of fitness, so if the workout is grueling at least we'll have the entertainment of watching others suffer.

Kris - hope you get some good news from the doc.

13 on a treadmill? And yes, hills suck. Bleh.

Let me know if you figure it out. I'm ready to be a Woman of Leisure as well!!

Yesterday was a day off after my crazy workout weekend. Tonight I have a personal training session and my regular two classes, boot camp and step. Tomorrow I will run. I promise!
