I'll be racing in Panama City Beach in May if anyone cares...just sayin...

I just dont travel that often for races. They always seem to have all the good ones when I am busy coaching my kids in soccer. I got lucky with the Breast Cancer Marathon this year, and I pray every year that the Gate River Run does not conflict with any soccer games.

<img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"> Hi from another Sarasota Girl! I'm running the 1/2 on March 2nd. It includes a bridge<img alt="huh.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/huh.gif"> After training in the beautiful, florida summer weather I couldn't understand why they considered Chicago heat a problem in Oct... I felt fine.<img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"><img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"><img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif">I was stopped at mile 20.6......and told to walk the 3 miles back to Grant Park<img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"><img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"><img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"><img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif">

The Breast Cancer Marathon here in Jacksonville next month has the same bridge on the way out at about mile 1.5 and again at mile 25 or so on the way back. Even the 1/2 marathoners will have to cross it again. OUCH.<br><br>
Good luck with your Half.

Hi everyone! We had perfect weather for the Gasparilla races this weekend! I ran the half and finished in 2:20 ish. <img alt="banana.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/banana.gif"> Anyone else run today?<br><br>
