Got us a couple of rooms booked. Now I guess I should sign up for the race, hey?<br><br>
And I'll tell y'all like I told the guys on my Student Nurses association trip when I booked their room...<br><br>

Bumping this back up. Everything is taken care of, right? Hotels are booked? Everybody who needs a flight has one reserved? Everybody registered for the race(s)?<br><br>
I just now took care of registering for the 5k. Everybody is doing that, right? And then a few of us will run the Full on Sunday?<br><br>
Just making sure everything is still on track...

Hey Bob. I think everything is still a go. Tiff is reserving the rooms on her Hampton Inn card in order to get more points. We will just pay our own room bills on Monday morning. When we get closer to time we can get a plan for picking you up at the airport. Not sure if Tiff and I or Tim will do it but someone will. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile">

Yes...I was thinking about this when I was out on my run. Both of my race registrations are on my desk at work. The race director owns the trak shak (where I buy my shoes) so I just need to drop it off there. Will do that this week when I get back into town.<br><br>
Yes, I can swing by and pick up Bob on Friday if that works best for everyone's schedule.<br><br>
I'll post up a rough schedule of what out time(s) will need to be...like when to leave the hotel on Sat & Sun morning, what our options are for meals and all of that.

Hey y'all! I figured I'd better go ahead and register since this is just a few weeks away! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy"> Did it last night. And I just may have registered for another race. Oh Geez, I'm insane. Only the 5K this time, but a HM down the line.<br><br>
Hotel/rooms are booked, if one of you guys has a rewards program number for Hampton and wants to move it to your card thats cool, if not I'm keepin' your points!<br><br>
So looking forward to meeting you guys and watching y'all race.<br><br>
When is everyone arriving?

I just PMed <b>boB</b> and <b>Flem</b> to see what their plans are. I of course live here, so no arrival time for me.<br><br>
I'm dropping my race registrations off at the race directors office in a couple of hours. Let's recap who's doing what races:<br><br><b>5K: (Saturday Morning)</b><br>

After the 5K on Saturday morning, they will be food and the expo to go to, and then sometime mid-morning, I will line up and run a mile with my DD as part of the Mercedes Kid's marathon. After that, we may or may not need to plan to get lunch. But, I also planned to drive you guys around the course so those of us who are running will see what we're in for on Sunday. And, Maples & Tiff can see how to drive out to a few places on the course to cheer and then still make it back to the finish before we finish.<br><br>
Sound good?

I'm still coming. I will be driving in Fri. afternoon after work. It's only about 2 hours or so, so I should be there around 7 ish? As for which race, I don't know yet. Running has not been good lately, so that is still TBA. I'll be driving home post-race party on Sunday evening most likely. I *may* take Monday off, but not sure.

Yeah, I got mine. I was also thinking that we can get a good running shot of at least me, boB, maples and tiff during the 5K. I'll try and postion DW in a good spot to get us as we all run by.

Yeah just wear a t-shirt or cap with your SEC team name and or logo for a picture. BUT<br><br>
RULE of Birmingham meet-up #1: Tiff can only wear one item of LSU clothing for the photograph. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy"><br><br><br>

That's alright <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile"> I have said it before and I will say it again...... that is the first and only Egg Bowl I am glad we lost. Due to the fact that "O" is gone and we have a real coach now! If we had won they probably would not have fired "O". Sometimes you can claim victory out of a defeat. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy">

I just saw a huge billboard for the exhibit, Our Body the Universe Within. It's in Mobile now! It looks really cool, or is that just the geeky medical side of me showing?! Might have to make a detour in the name of science.<br><br>
So it's a go for everyone to bring school gear right?<br><br><b>Beth</b> Borrow something from your sis and represent your Bulldogs (though they whine a lot, they're a decent team! ) <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink"><br><br>

And depending on the distance of the detour, I might be willing to hit that exhibit with you. I went to the medical oddities museum in Philly (and about freaked myself out at times).

You can wear Ga tech gear!!! I like them more than the bulldogs anyway! Is that your team more so, you told me that didn't ya? I blame the beer. For all the things, including the moose. I think it's a few hours from B-ham but if I drive from Walker then it's just about on my way. I was thinking of heading up the opposite way to carpool with <b>Maples</b> but now I'm pretty tempted to drive the whole way so I can make the Mobile stop. Will have to look into it. Where is Mobile in relation to where you are. Without a map, I'm clueless. geography was never my best subject.
