A Cookbook is Coming!!!

A number of fundraising ideas are being considered to cover the higher costs of Kickrunner's new server. One of satfix's first (excellent) ideas is to compile the recipes in the Kickrunner Recipes thread and turn them into a cookbook than can be purchased at a small cost. 
There are already many wonderful recipes in that sub-forum already, but if you'd like to support the effort further, and immortalize (more of) your favorite recipes in the upcoming book, please post them there! I'll update this thread when when we have a deadline, but you probably have a week before the book gets built.

Depending on the # of recipes, pages, etc, i can probably come up with a cost next week. If anyone has recipes, add them now <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"> If you do not want a recipe used, let me know.

Can you do a mini compilation and see what areas of the cookbook need more recipes--- What about maybe a runner's fuel section for smoothies, granola, proteinbar recipes?

meri, how about a light recipe section? that's always popular on this board. and maybe a veg section unless you want to insert those recipes into app's and mains.

I think a veg only section would be useful....like the Inspired Vegetarian section in Cooking Light mag.

I think a veggie section would be great. What about a quick meals sections? As much as I love cooking, sometimes I need to make something that is fast. 
Is there a submission deadline yet?

I have a word doc home of all the recipes Grizz posted in the Carbo Canteen a few years ago. Some of them were mine. I will email it when I get home.

This sounds like a really great idea - I've seen so many great recipes over in CR, and would happily pay for a cookbook (and contribute a recipe!)
