In 2006 I PR'd at every distance. I knew in 2007 I probably wouldn't do that again, but wanted to PR at least a few times. I did PR in the half marathon and PR'd at a couple races that I'd run before.

I also wanted to try a few new races and ran about 5 new ones.

I ran a total of 15 races, including 2 marathons, 4 half marathons, a 20k and lots of shorter distances.

I increased my overall mileage and am very happy with my 2007 running!

It was the only one I could find that was the right size

I promise I'll try to quit smoking

Great year, best ever!

I'm pretty sure I had only 2 goals - remain uninjured and PR for marathon.

I didn't achieve 1 - ended up with YASF training for Boston and ended up out of running until this fall - but I did get a marathon PR (2:41:5 at Philly this year - and at 47, that's good for me - I'll focus on sub 2:40 for 2008 - althogh I'd take no more stress fractures...
