Carp! I knew I should have worn my glasses to the football game........ And I have them on as I type (normally wear contacts until late night before bed then I switch to glasses)

Ohhh, BigG, I'm so sorry. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/sad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Sad"> I just don't understand why adults have to take out their anger on their children. How old are your kids? (((BigG and Goonlets))) Oache I hope you feel better. Being sick is teh suck. I hope you feel better soon. That goes for any of us that are not feeling well. May we get completely better before Christmas Eve.

We are having a major storm here...another 4 inches already, high winds, and it's not stopping. 
I LOVE IT! 
Really the only problem is we have no food in the house. We tried to go shopping yesterday and the market was so busy, we couldn't park! Looks like it'll be bean burritos tonight (unless we go to the dinner party we were invited to...hmmmmm)

Dear Oache, 
Please be smart and don't tell the girls that glasses simply mean we are vision impaired. Some of us need all the help we can get. It would ruin the magic if they think we are all intelligent just because we sometimes wear glasses. Of course I am speaking just for myself and I realize you might be terribly smart but it still doesn't hurt to be careful with such sensitive information.

We invited some of the neighbors over for dinner, spur of the moment kinda thing. No one has to drive, the kids will entertain each other, so it should be a good time.

Just popping in to say hello. Supposed to be off work today but have to go in for just a little bit. It gives me a good reason to get off my butt and get moving, so it's ok. No real workout yet this weekend, unless you count last night. At the risk of jinxing anything, The Pilot called and invited me ice skating with him... 
and his boys. 
Yeah. It was *awesome*, but it was kinda freaking me out, too. I'm thinking this whole "let's just be friends" thing might be a cover for something else. Like dating. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy"> Well, I'm just trying not to obsess. A fun time was had by all, and the boys even talked to me after a little while, which I think in KidSpeak is good. I just have a bruised spot on the front of my left shin, right where the top of the skate was. Perhaps I had them tied too tight at the top? (Winter? Any advice?) 
Ok, enough goofing off. Better hop in the shower and get my day started. 
OH! I almost forgot... (((((BigG))))) Hope everything is looking a little better today.

im maybe 2 hours away or so. i come from a big 'go for a ride' family so even if i don't run, I'll throw my dog in the back (should be pretty cool still) and come down and say hi and cheer. but its wicked pretty there in S ohio. I'm hoping to run the half as a long run.

I'm heading for a nap myself. I just shovelled out where the freakin' city plow just dumped 5 ft of snow ON TO OUR FRONT STEPS. Awesome. 
I've been feeling nauseous since breakfast, and the shovelling didn't help...so I'm off for a nap.
