I'll say it again.
Mornin' Jen.

I'll post here b/c I'm not forgetting my running shoes today. That doesn't mean I'll be able to run, but at least I'll be prepared.

Mornin' all.
Later all.

Hey, good morning.

I ran 6.25 fairly quick miles yesterday (8:14 pace). Today is an east 3. It's raining now, and maybe I'll do the miles on the TM at the gym this evening. We'll see.

Only 12 days until Philly. Is everybody getting pumped??

howdy peeps. will run tonight...2? 3? not too much. Probably with the pup at least part.

I know I'm walking today as well, because there's some 100 miles in 100 days thing going on at work. Obviously, I won't be signing up for the whole thing, but I figure I might was well go today.

morning!

After walking all over NYC on Sunday, my legs needed a break yesterday (What? That's hard work standing for hours to cheer on my people!)

Now I'm staring this stupid taper in the face. Heading out for an easy 6 after work today.

Yes, Bob, I'm excited - renewed excitement after NYC - but I'm nervous, too. Not that I can make the distance, but that I have a good race. I really want to run a good race.

Good morning. My knees feel better, they started feeling better last night. I think it was due to a hilly run on Thursday, and then the hills I normally run on Sunday's took their toll. DH broke our TM last week, so I have to hit the gym this morning for a measly 3miles.

I runned. It was cold and blowy outside (20something windchill), so I wimped out and did 5 on the TM. After Sunday's perfect weather, I am not ready for winter just yet. I think I could have handled the cold, just not the wind. Not yet.

At work at 7 after dropping DS2 at early orchestra practice. (or is that fun?)

Taper... No run for me today. Perhaps a dog walk... easy 4-6 tomorrow.... and finally an easy 2-3 on Friday morning. Richmond is Saturday.

Should be pretty intereresting 2 others from my VRAA team are running Richmond. I've met one of them before (she's also from Richmond). So we're going to get some killer points this weekend

I'll post my bib number and tracking information soon.

Sage: Were you in Alabama?

Cold and blowy here too. Since I bagged y-day. I made up the 10Mer. Ran pretty hard, but my lower abs are still a lil' sore so running hard don't agree w/ them.

4 days till Huntsville Half.

Did 6 miles on the TM last night alt. walking/jogging. I was really dragging. Of course it doesn't help that I didn't sleep much the night before. Knee feels a little tight I'll see what the PT says today. Gonna see if I can hit the track more. Sometimes I get so aggravated because I just want to be where I was before I fell and I'm not there....yet. But I assure you, it will happen. I think one of the reasons I like running so much is it's not easy for me and I've always been the one that is up for a challenge.

Hope everyone has good runs today!

My first cool run and I made it fine. The wind chill was 37 but I felt good by the time I was finished and even broke a little sweat depsite the temp. Tomorrow morning the temp is 32 but I'll be fine.

Hey, hey I did start OHR WEEK 10 today. Two more workouts and the program is successfully completed.

Yesterday after work I bought one of those 16 month desk calendars that extends into next year. I mapped out the new program I will begin next week (that PhillyTom wrote for me). It's a 15 week course building on my OHR plan. I was thinking what to do after this new program and the 10k training program came to mind. Then I smiled when I realized that the new 15 week program has me running 7.5 miles on my long days for the last couple of weeks. Therefore the 10k program is sort of taken care of already! LOL.

I also started my serious, heavy duty cross training last night. I have been doing light sets the past 2 weeks just to get back in the habbit but with the new month I have a fresh start and last night I laid the hammer down. Got a good workout. I felt it for sure.

That's all the fitness stuff happening to me at this juncture

Has your wife been talking to mine?

Rest day for me today. This should be my first 30+ week since August. We shall see.

I also want to add that reading the race reports from the weekend, and some of the personal stories here about how people work running into their lives, and how many have conquered weight issues is very inspritational.
