It went very well thanks for asking. 
My sponsor introduced me to everyone and gave me a tour. Showed me all the equipment etc. 
This Thursday I go back and my name is read (a formal process) in front of the entire company. This basically makes my intent to become a FF known. Then I'll have four weeks of light training (whenever I can get there) and on November 15th I go back to be officially voted into the company. At that point the real training begins. I'll get my gear, pager etc. and if I so choose will begin fire school. Then it's all on the job training so to speak.

Hey, no offense, but I think it's a little early for someone to be trying to find a boyfriend for my daughter! At least give me a dozen years or so to worry about other things! 
As for Maggie's hospital stay.. She paid a co-pay on her first visit to the doctor that confirmed her pregnancy, and she hasn't paid a dime since. But that's just how my company's insurance works, so for other people, YMMV. Because it was a C-section, Maggie will be there 4 days -- she'll be coming home on Friday. And we're gonna try to make sure we learn as much as we can from the nurses before then... QOD: I'm doing pretty damn good today. Best day in quite a while, actually.... <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy">

Skimmed the thread a couple times today, but finally sat down to read it through. So, here is what I have to say about it: Bob, Jillian is beautiful! My advice to you is to take care of changing all diapers while Maggie is in the hospital and hand baby over whenever she gets hungry. This coming from someone who has had 2 c-sections. Oh yea, and tell Maggie this - drugs, drugs, drugs! For as long as you can! C/S effing hurts!!! Great name for the new one, by the way. 
It is so nice to see people's faces in their avatars for a change of pace (solar, lgreenberg, trigirl, startingover, sauconrunner, prae, rftl) . Mary, I'm jealous of your India trip. Take lots of pics! QOD - I've got a headache. 
I agree with Beth, she is the biggest procrastinator on the board. Just kidding!!! 2oh, so whattup? How is Mrs. 2oh? Heather, I'm picking Oct. 24th, 2:45 pm in the 2oh pool.

I've got to take DD2 and DD3 to coach DD1's soccer game, alone (the other coach only comes on weekends). Watching 9 seven year olds while also watching my 4 and 1-1/2 yr. olds. Oh this is going to be just great.

Now on the other hand, when the Flemdawg clan decide to have more young'uns it would present a different dilemma for me.
