I hope you get that run in, Ron. :)

No running for me this weekend, just 18 holes of golf. Spent the day yesterday doing chores and projects around the house. Saturday night we went to a movie in the park and I was introduced to Frozen for the first time.

I would like to get a 10 mile run in before the end of the month.
That's a good goal. What's your long run right now? I have done 7-8 miles many times over the past few months and have never gone much above that, but every once in a while it would be nice to go up to 10 miles.

It's crazy humid here today too. I'm trying to decide between a workout and a mani/pedi tonight. :) My last full day off was last Tuesday, so I'm due.... But I've been binge eating sweets for 2 days, so a workout would be beneficial too. Decisions....

Ack. My left calf is still a little sore from Saturday's long run. I haven't run since then, but I think I'll give it an easy go tonight, in the hopes that I can loosen it up. I'm a little worried about how I go soooo dehydrated on Saturday, when it was "only" 16 miles and temps "only" in the low 80s. What'll happen to me if I need to do a 20-miler on a hotter and humid-er day? I'd better have a Gatorade IV going...

hi guys,

things continue to be busy with house stuff but we're slowwwwwwly getting there!

AK and i head down south (T.O. for ron, specifically) tomorrow and DH will join us over the weekend - the funeral will be next monday but i'm heading down to spend some extra time with family which i'm looking forward to! i'm hoping to finally have some time to get in some good trail workouts :)

I last posted on Tuesday. I actually did NOT run that day. I decided to give the leg one more day of rest. I ran yesterday, and felt just fine. I went out today and did 8 miles, and felt really good. So hopefully I'm past whatever was bothering me earlier in the week. I'm planning on 18 miles on Saturday, and I'm getting nervous about that...

It's still smoky, Duck? I hope the skies clear up soon.

It's getting hot here. I'm not worried about doing a short run tonight, but I'm a little worried about attempting 18 miles tomorrow. I got dehydated pretty bad after 16 miles last weekend, and this weekend is supposed to be a lot warmer. I think I might wake up at about 4am tomorrow to eat something, then maybe go back to sleep for an hour or so, and then start my run nice and early, so that maybe I can finish before the sun gets too high and the temps soar...

For no reason other than it's Friday afternoon and I'm in a good mood, here's a perky happy video:
