HAPPY EASTER!

I just ran a hair over 22 miles. Woot woot. TOG winds here and I picked an insanely hilly route. But I felt very good throughout. This run got me to just under 67 miles for the week.

Now time to clean up and get ready for our Easter gathering.

Way back when...a long time ago (on another website far far away) the majority of us were in our 30s at the time. We enjoyed a daily thread to talk about running and pretty much anything else. since then, we've been through life and death, trials, tribulations, jubilations, marriages, divorce, child births, ear tube surgeries, car wrecks, meet ups, mini-meet ups, accidental meetups, almost meetups, and occasionally we've managed to run a few miles and even run some races together and seperately. Welcome!

happy easter!!

i worked last night and was up all night and slogged through most of the day today. DH wasn't working but if i'm home, AK always wants me so no rest for the weary! we had a lovely take out dinner and i'm goign to bed. night!!

welcome orange!

p.s. re: leashes, if theres no leash law or we're out in an open area (park, beach, woods), i always let bella off leash b/c shes completely voiced trained. if i say heel, she snaps to my side instantly and is glued to my left knee, regardless of other people, dogs, animals (even squirrels!) and is under my complete control. if i stop, she sits. if i turn around, she turns around. if i back up, she backs up. but, leash laws are put in place for a reason.. and we obey it just like we obey most other laws - i am not above the law despite the fact that my dog is superbly trained.

/bragging bc i worked rreaally hard training her!!

I don't have a problem with that. (And that is freaking awesome btw!)

My problem is with people who don't train their dogs, and don't have control when they are off leash. Ok, and those asshats who know their dog can escape their yard/house and don't do anything to prevent it.
