<p>Not fun: There are ants on my desk this AM! Not many, but enough. While I do respect life, I can't very well usher ants out the door, and since they bite... the little buggers are meeting their demise on the other side of a scrunched up kleenex. Now I have this weird feeling that one is crawling on my arms, even though I don't see one there. /shudder. This is going to drive me nuts!!</p>

I get this when I hear that someone has the stomach flu, or their kid has the stomach flu, or they know of someone that has the stomach flu - I immediately start to feel queasy.</p>

<p>Speaking of queasy, I just scarfed down a Panera Cinnamon Crunch bagel, yes with cream cheese and now I feel oogy. blech.  </p>

<p>Early to work today - early to leave, because today is DD's first day of behind the wheel driving instruction and I've gotta pick her up and drop her off there. Hm, maybe I'll have her drive home. eeeks!</p>

<p>The administrator I work for is out of the office all week so this is my chance to get all caught up! Now I just need to quit playing on the interwebs and get to it!<br>

<p>Fun: DH is at home with the kids today and they are all going to come down and meet me for lunch. Also, I get to play hooky tomorrow since we don't have child care. Not sure what the boys and I are going to do yet though.....</p>

<p>More fun: Looking at the forecast, it is supposed to be COOL this weekend (lows in low 50s; highs in low 70s). Looks like a good weekend for racing!</p>

<p>After 10 days of mostly lovely weather we're back to f-ing hot and humid. GAK. I'm so ready for this to go a.w.a.y.</p>

<p>11 lumps of clay are waiting for me to throw them. 10 of those will be yarn bowls. My yarn vendor friend had 3 fiber shows coming up and wants to take yarn bowls with her, so I need to make A LOT of them. This is just a start. The other lump is for a wedding bowl. </p>

<p>Morning.  I am counting on you guys to entertain me this week.  More to dos than I can possibly do, so I'm prioritizing, delegating and saying no f-ing way to a few as well.  I've declared my brain a drama free zone.  Any one who attempts to insert drama is getting informed of the policy nicely <em>once</em>. This means I won't be speaking to my mother by noon today

<p>Now that most summer grades are in, I can start clearing out the last of one particular backlog. Our primary campus has selective admissions but our regional campuses are open enrollment, so students who start at the regionals have to go through a review process to be permitted to make the campus change.  I get to do the review for all Arts and Sciences requests.  I have about 40 students for whom I need to see summer grades before I can make a decision. I am so sick of this particular task, I've reviewed probably 700+ students since late April.  <br>

This - yesterday's fantasy football draft party food I noshed on all day caught up me right before I was about to sleep - felt extremely queasy, so I just kinda' had to hang out until the feeling left. Thus, some extra coffee's on the docket for today</p>
