at this point, i can only see this as an empty threat. what went down in the past, divided people that were a part of it, made some posters feel left out, and made some posters feel queasy enough to leave. When it was going down, people should have been banned. Their behavior is now not even borderline and measures are being taken? It doesn't make sense.

Now you are threatening closing the PRT??? do it--or don't. You either forget what these 6 have done and give a clean slate, or you don't. You can't moderate them for doing things that are lesser than the rest of us. In a way, it's not fair to anyone, to those that played fair all along, you are giving those 6 more importance than the other 100s that never needed attention. imho.

I'm not threatening to close the PRT - I guess it sounds that way.

You are correct - I let a few people dictate the feel and timbre of the PRT - I took my own advise too seriously and tried to allow self moderation to work - it did not. The rest of the mods even tried to intervene earlier and I held them back. I mistakenly thought the bickering between the two camps would die out and things would get back to normal.

We all know every site will have it's drama - like stated earlier - it 'ebbs and flows' as is the nature of the format.

I take 100% responsibility for allowing things to get to this point. Even my 'new rules' were an attempt to quell the actions of a few. To create 'rules' for the masses because I was not willing to deal with the few was wrong.

I've asking now, for the 3rd time - if anyone here has a sincere interest in helping us set up a "Terms and Conditions" of kickrunners.com and would like to shape the direction of the site and how we handle future events (clearly our 'laid back' approach didn't work in the latest issues) - then, by all means - send me a pm.

Until the site does figure out what those "terms and conditions" are - I'll do my best to trust the moderators here when they 'warn me' (and they DO!) that I'm 'screwing up'.

It goes without saying, anyone here can drop me a pm anytime they would like to offer, 'insight', 'opinion', 'criticism' or whatever - hell, I had one from someone that pretty much tore me a new 'a-hole' and told me to quit acting like one! (and he was correct!).

Thanks
