HH What a great smile!!!

(although you do realize half your head is missing. . . )

Yeah.

Hashed last night. Full report from me on buffaloh3.com, but the short version is that it hurts to run with a broken collar bone. Still....I have 10 more days until the Lilly Valley 5k. I could conceivably be ready by then. I mean, where else would be better to run a new PW, than a naked 5k?

aspiring to be lazy like Baggs.

Theia is the multisport queen, n'est pas?

Ex's and what is allowed/advisable. None were in attendance last night at the Hash...but who knows? I'm always hopeful that I could meet someone who could turn out to be a great ex-girlfriend.

Crane - I forgot to ask, how did the race go last weekend? How could you not tell me they had a Cheeseburger in Paradise Restaurant in Madison????

New Haven 20k - So who's all in???? I'm actually kinda excited about this race. Don't know what kind of condition I'll be in.

Maria - Flying in and out of La Guardia over Labor Day weekend.
I'm almost afraid to ask....but i will.
What's a PW?

In my mind, I'm 100% in! ...I just need to find out if there are any scheduling conflicts that I'm not yet aware of... Baggs - so you're flying in to LGA and then driving or taking a train up to New Haven? When do you arrive and where's the concert that weekend?

Hey guys,

I'm totally pooped and need to get to bed. So, here's the pic. I'll post another response with more details regarding the elephant later today (for your; for me it will be tomorrow morning).

The short version is that we were driving to work when we saw this elephant on the side of the road. Our driver spins a quick u-ey and tada...instand photo op. I even got the elephant to look directly at the camera.

That's me in the middle, and the guy over our shoulder's was the guy who was actually walking the elephant down the side of the road.

Hmmm - there's another one of ya?? As far as plans go, I have never used a plan I found somewhere, but I make up my own. I look at all kinds of different ones and use them as a guide. Sorta like Voo was saying with HH - he juggles the runs around to fit what works for him.

Here's hoping I sucked all of the bad mojo out of LGA for ya on Sunday.

Plan on driving up the coast after we get into NY. Get in on Wednesday night. I'm not a big fan of having everything planned out.

The concert is in Foxboro on Sunday, the race on Monday in Connecticut, then head to NYC after. The flight back is at 8:00 on Monday.

You should just come up and go to Jimmy. I can locate you some tickets if needed.

flyin by, work sucks.

ran 5 this morning, felt all west compared to the run yesterday of 8. worked very hard to stay around 9:45...very hard. may try anoterh double today and throw in 3-4 tonight after work if I have time.

all I looked for was a QOD, so a general hello, high fives and hugs to need em

freeform QOD cool question. I am blown away with how much better I am at running than I thought I would be. in the grand scheme of things I am not fast at all, but I am a hell of a lot faster than I ever imagined I would be 13 months ago when I started. the who realization that I have earned every bit of this through hard work (because it certainly has not come naturally)..that is pretty satisfying. it is also pretty cool that my pants are getting too loose not too tight!

My neice took that picture.

If you look closely, you'll also notice that there's an Allagash Trippel on the table beside me.
