Done.

I see what you mean about the injury. When I got injured, I took increasingly long breaks, but the injury came always back when I resumed training. It took me nearly two years to learn that I injured myself by increasing the training too fast. Finally, I started extremely slowly with a run-walk beginners program and reduced even that every time it felt like the injury was coming back. Please save yourself some time and be smarter than me.

Edited to add:

Ella, go out and score some non-running points.

You are welcome,

Ella. Now go out and score some more points

Calm day for me today. After yesterday's long run I had to give the legs a rest. Also I had to play a chess tournament (I played lousy today ).

Good job, Ella.
Do you need more encouragement?

Great weekend totals, team! I think there will be a few more points trickling in from the weekend still. If you earned the 5 point bonus for posting in the daily threads, and haven't claimed it yet, please do.

I need a category for chasing a 14 month old off the stairs...that was the majority of my weekend! I did get a new fastest mile over the weekend though, so I'm making progress!

Hey cap'n next time wear a garmin and claim all those toddler chasing miles!!!

Here's my challenge to the team:

I'll do my best to hold on to the #1 slot if some of the rest of you can see about getting into the top 10. As of right now Complete Pete is #9, Ralfm 14, millbot 16 and Dr Wu 19. If we are going to have a chance on the team award we need some more of you bumping it up the leaderboard!!

Okay, I'm going for a bike ride to move back up into #1.... Who's with me!!

My goal is to double my points this week. Does that work?

I certainly will try to hold or improve my position. Top 10? That will be tough, but I will hang in there. Maybe I can add some more rain dances.

Make 1/4 mile loops doing those rain dances and you'll rack up points super quickly!!!!
