Yoga tonight...I'm still a little sore from Mondays power yoga. Might see what else I can do since I'm off today. Bike, maybe?

5 miles last night alt walk/run. One hour on the elliptical while being distracted by the Tx/Az St. game.

Thinking about weights and a swim this am. Wish I could make am spin class but don't think I will get there in time...

Good workouts and runs to all today!

3.5 muggy muggy miles this a.m. Seriously, the rain had just passed and it was like running through pea soup. But they got done.

Can I take a nap now?

Nice return to speed workouts, Bob! The temptation to crush high schoolers is sometimes too powerful to resist.

1 mile this morning since we've still got some new runners in the group who are getting their VO2max wet...or their trainers broken in, however you want to put it. 10 Miler coming up Saturday. May try to get some yoga or strength work in mid-week, plus 1 or 2 miles on Friday.

Good runs, everyone!

G'morning folks.

Had the most sucktastic run yesterday after work. With the heat index, it was 96 degrees. I managed 2.2 miles before walking to cool down. When I hadn't cooled down at all a few minutes later, I bailed. Wasn't worth the risk.

However, my faith was restored this AM by a 5 mile run on the TM. Whew! The difference that some sleep and a 20 degree difference can make!

Maya - I love that you're still involved with the BOMF group. That is so cool!!

Morning!

Ahimsa, I saw in The Economist this week that your name means "non-violence" which I thought was pretty cool.

Craptastic run this morning. 97% humidity didn't help, nor did my fatigue from my new 2-a-day exercise regime. Hopefully I'll acclimate soon to both the heat and the extra work. And the scale better start liking me better!

Be good, friends.

Got in a quick 3 yesterday afternoon. It was warm, but there was a nice breeze. Today however is rain and not fun. Not sure what I'll do.

Jill, I can't believe how well you've been doing since the stress fxr, Go You!

Not sure what the plan is today. There's a 5k tonight at 6:30, but I'm undecided.

Hey all - first swim since the surgery yesterday. I have no clue how long this pool is (it's one of those blob shaped luxury hotel type deals) but it's evident I've got a lot of work to do to even get back to where I was. Probably a run before work tomorrow.

Good runs, workouts and/or rest days to you all
