Just finished <i>The Guardian</i> by Nicholas Sparks yesterday...liked it.<br><br>
Started reading <i>Teacher Man</i> by Frank McCourt today...liking it a lot. I haven't read a book for fun before this since high school and I have a literature class next semester, so I had to make sure I could still read something if it wasn't on a computer screen or in a text book. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink">

<i>"A Thousand Splendid Suns"</i> by Khaled Hosseini. I forgot how hungry <i>"The Kite Runner"</i> made me for Indian food. Hosseini is doing it again ... ahhhhh, Naan. Yum. I foresee kabobs in my near future <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile"> .

My daughter absorbed those books in about 2 and half weeks! Her friend has the fourth one and will loan it over to her when she is done.. they weren't as excited about that one ( DD is not going to buy it she said. )<br>
So should I read them too? I am looking for something!

Interesting! How are you liking it so far?

Heh! I don't know much about it's history beyond being used as currency for a while. And even that could be wrong!

I love reading, but lately haven't been able to sit still so I've been buying books off of iTunes, I'm listening to City of Masks right now

Heartsick.<br><br>
A thrill a minute with this one. VERY quick read.

Dreamers of the Day, by Mary Doria Russell.<br><br>
It's a novel about an American woman who travels to Cairo during the time that the Cairo Peace Conference is convened. Only a few pages in, but it so far it seems interesting.

I'm 2/3 of the way through this:<br><br><img alt="" src="http://www.elizabethgilbert.com/images/eatpraylove.jpg" style="border:0px solid;"><br><br>
I got it as a gift and didn't think I'd like it, but I do!
