Was quite a sweet walk, views were immense, distance was huge and I climbed the highest mountain in England, twice!<br><br>
Only phone photos again I'm afraid but at this size they're not that bad.<br><br><img alt="" src="http://photos-844.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sctm/v217/142/109/222301844/n222301844_2874789_6126.jpg" style="border:0px solid;"><br>
Not exactly sure where this was taken but I'm guessing Lingmell, the mountain you're looking at is Great Gable.<br><br><img alt="" src="http://photos-844.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sctm/v217/142/109/222301844/n222301844_2874791_7003.jpg" style="border:0px solid;"><br>
About to go up to Foxes Tarn on Scafell (the second highest peak in England)<br><br><img alt="" src="http://photos-844.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sctm/v217/142/109/222301844/n222301844_2874792_7459.jpg" style="border:0px solid;"><br>
At Foxes Tarn Looking out at Scafell Pike (the highest point in England)<br><br><img alt="" src="http://photos-844.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sctm/v217/142/109/222301844/n222301844_2874793_7940.jpg" style="border:0px solid;"><br>
Me on the top of something, possibly Scafell Pike.<br><br><img alt="" src="http://photos-844.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sctm/v217/142/109/222301844/n222301844_2874795_8743.jpg" style="border:0px solid;"><br>

Hey I climbed six different mountains yesterday, and one of them twice. I can't remember which photos were taken where <img alt="razz.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/razz.gif">

Great shots and a wonderful place to walk/climb - It's been a long while for me, but I have fond memories of Foxes Tarn and the Langdale valley...... Little green with envy here <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif">

Well Langdale is quite a long drive from my house so I started from Seathwaite at the end of the Borrodale Valley, up to Styhead tarn and in that way.<br><br>
Great walk! <img alt="biggrin.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/biggrin.gif"><br><br>

Liath, you're so great to share these photos with us - quite spectacular views, especially to a Kansas flatlander like myself.<br><br>
Thanks!!
