Don't need to do the math.

Prison guard has to be one of the most difficult and thankless jobs imaginable, and I know that I don't have the mental or emotional stamina to deal with it. (I really thought about doing becoming a guard.)

My other problem is I am a soft touch and am easily conned. I don't think prison is the place for me. On either side of the bars.

If it was about money I'd be doing something else and I probably wouldn't have gone to grad school. Sometimes I think a degree from an ivy league school is over rated, but it would have been great to rub shoulders with some of those great minds.
? Hard to answer, is the Harvard grad employed?

Honestly, I'd probably take the prison job over most positions a Harvard grad is doing, only because I am assuming that the guard is 8 hours of stress and if the Harvard grad is a COO or CEO...is 8+ hours of stress. As a guard your life is at stake, but no one is actually targeting you. My BIL was a COO and during labor negotiations, he was getting tires slashed, his office broken into, death threats, etc. No thanks.

Harvard has a well regarded Landscape Architecture program. Nobody hates Landscape Architects. :)

I was in the LA program for a time at UGA and had a professor who was a bastard. Aside from that, though, I can't disagree.
