Another hill repeats, on the bike this time, early in the cool morning where I could feel a hint of Fall. 75minutes total with 2 sets of 5 repeats. 3min intervals (just like yesterday!) - half of the time is climbing with the tough part of the hill taking me 63sec or so to complete. I tried different gear combos, off the saddle, stayed seated, etc, but didn't change the time to take to get up there.

Have been working on details on the Xterra race in Utah. Looks like DH might not be able to come with me. And found out renting a bike over there costs only $45 a day, and much nicer bike than my 600lbs bike, which would cost who knows how much to fly and reassemble, >$200? I want a NEW, MY OWN MTB!!

Edited to add: 4mile run with fartrek (short ones). Legs moved well. Core/upperbody strength workout later.

5 mile tempo run in a down pouring rain early this morning. Came close to a course PR. Wanted to do a real workout as opposed to a regular run but was so tired, and with rain beating down on the outside, I, well, fell asleep after I had already turned off my alarm to get up. No biggie.

I'm flat out at work this week so most non-work activity has been curtailed. I can't wait to have a moment to get out for a run and write a quick Timberman RR. The weekend is looking hopeful!

Good workouts all!

Another hour on the exercise bike for me. 20 min WU, then 12 min, 10 min and 8 min @ HIM effort (220 watts) with 3 min recoveries. Finished up with 20 min of foam roller, core work and stretching. Been doing the foam roller for a week now and I'm just beginning to get to the point where it only hurts like hell.

Happy humpday everyone!

Back from vacation!! I worked out for almost 2 weeks without my watch since I was "on vacation". That and I accidentally left my watch at home

Ran @ the track w/my pup, Bella around 7pm. She's a boxer so she is an awesome sprinting partner. LD runs not so much.
