<p>Good morning folks,</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Started a new job yesterday so a little easier to check out what is going on.  Commute is much better so that is a plus.  Anyway, 4+ miler this morning from the Y.  Only one other person today as others must have had excuses.  Good run, still rocking shorts as it is still in the 30's for now.  Have a geat day,</p>

<p>Me:  Alarm went off at 5:00AM, I evaluated how I was feeling and decided that I was going to skip the gym and pool this morning and get a good nights sleep.  I deserve it.  I am not going to be going running today as my lower back is still a bit sore.  I am hoping to swing by the gym on the way home and try to swim 1,500 - 2,000m, at least get back into the groove.</p>

<p>Mayor: dude, awesome news! I was hoping/waiting for that because I know how long a commute the old gig was. I'll send you a private note to figure out your run routine... the month of December is down for me, so I wouldn't mind joining in a few more social runs.</p>

<p>4.5 mile easy run early this morning. Wore shorts again. But there was a nip in the air.</p>

<p>Not crazy here. 39 degrees at 10 when I went out for an 8-miler and I was in capris & LS tech T.</p>

<p>Snow covered slippery road here in upper 20's.  I wasn't in a mood to tough it out especially the plan was short and some fast 200s.  So headed to the TM in the basement.  The first time in a loooong time to use this TM.  Wasn't too bad with some help from the loud music.  4miles with 8x200's at the 5k goal pace.  Jingle Bell 5k this Sat.</p>

Miles, listen to your body/mood with working out - you are probably still beaten down a bit. I remember everything took more effort and left me spent after the IM.<br><br>
Me, 2000-yard swim. Getting easier, probably time to do some sets and up the distance a bit.

<p>Ug. Got home from swim team practice just before 10. Did my chores and finally sat down 10:30. Which was dumb, to bed with me!</p>
<p>Was up at 4am this morning to get downtown to see the movement guy (adam) so we could work on my orthotic/shoe combo and build up a strength program.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Only problem is between tues being first time in weight room in a year or more</p>
<p>and</p>
<p>first swim team practice in 2 years</p>
<p>and</p>
<p>5 hours of sleep</p>
<p> </p>
<p>my azz was so tired. OMG.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>At work by 7am, left work at 7pm.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Long day.</p>
<p>Tired</p>
<p>Must sleep.</p>
