<p>~50 mile ride with Positive Spin for ALS. Ride was supposed to be June 12, but was rescheduled due to some truly crummy, rainy, icky weather. Much nicer weather today, though a bit on the cool side. </p>
<p>Gave my spare tube to a guy on the side of the road. He'd already been seen to by a local cyclist who was headed back to her house to get (in the guy's words), "whatever this thing is called" (said while tweaking the stem valve). Almost rode away without asking if they had a tire lever. They didn't and though the guy said sometimes one's fingers work just fine, I gave them one of my extras. His buddy did have a pump...he also had a saddle bag, but I'm guessing it contained neither spare tubes nor tire levers. Before finally leaving, I did ask if they had a phone. They did.</p>
