<p>Background: I work for a small company (only 8 people) and have for the past 15 years. I manage just about everything that uses electricity here and I'm in charge of creating new media (print, web, video - everything except powerpoint). </p>

<p>I'm so sick of developing something new and having it get put on the back burner and forgotten about. We were supposed to roll out a new web site in March. It's now nearing the end of July and the web site is still "in review".  The last time we did a major upgrade to our site was 2001.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>We were set to update an older piece of literature and we did the initial work years ago and it's still "in review". Month ago, I did a new cover for our warranties, they're still "in review". <img alt="" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/mad.gif" title=""></p>

<p>Nothing like submitting my drug test and fingerprints last week and now I find out they are still waiting on the results.  I then had to submit more details about my work history.  I don't remember when I was exactly hired or when I was exactly laid off.  Geez. </p>

<p>Setting up a new DB application for a developer.  I ask the developer for a list of users who will need access to the app, so I can create a proper user group, and apply all of the database rights to the group.  Developer asks if we can add every employee in the company (~450 of them) to the group.  No you moron!!!!  You can spend 30% of your time with auditors and explain <em>that</em> to them. </p>

<p>In the end, there were about a dozen users in the group.</p>

<p>  Those "exact date" things are annoying!   When  they lay you off is a date we all try to forget !<br>

<p> My rant is that they put me in kindergarten this year.. as a teacher's aide. SO  I got a double demotion in money and level.... </p>
<p> I also have crappy knees and I am a big person.. so me and little chairs and tables are a cruddy fit.  But at the very least they didn't lay me off  ( or any other aides. )   I  am laying in a stock of hand sanitizer, tissues, Vitamin C  and Tide spot stick to get me through the year !</p>

<p>The head boss wants to make me a scape goat for a screw up that happened in the mad panic to get a plan completed for committee because it had to be approved before August (guess what - its been bumped to September). </p>
