Word filters? We don't need no stinkin' word filters!

Censorship, consarn it! Sometimes those words are important to transmitting the meaning of one's ideas.
I appreciate everyone's comments and suggestions. We have no intention of using word filters at this time - We expect our members to use good common sense and 'reasonable and customary' word usage. To use profanity as a means to incite or stir intentional divisiveness is no more acceptable than flaming a user - however - when used in context and in appropriate threads -there is no need to monitor or control ones select vocabulary.

Since this forum is for suggestions and not really intended to debate or discuss, I'm going to close the thread here. I would encourage those who wish to discuss this topic to repost in the PRT and see what happens.

Thanks for all of your input.
