Hey everyone! It's Friday! We are doublr-booked for events tonight, but it should be fun. Oh, and today is supposed to be the last day (at least for a few days) of insanely cold temps.

The cold is back today here. After a few days in the 30s, it was 12 degrees when I woke up this morning. Oh well.

Ha - 12 sounds tropical to me. It has been bitterly cold and windy here - definitely sub-zero temps. Brrrr. It is supposed to be in the 20s though tomorrow!!

My fun starts today at about 1:30 when I fly out to California for the Surf City Marathon & HM. My sisters should be arriving shortly after me, can't wait to have us all running together!!

morning peeps.
 
I am in a low low mood, combination of too many things to go into. My 6 mi commute this morning took 90 mins. I'm completely distracted at work and unable to concentrate. 
 
my only consolation is I'm not eating much, so maybe I'll lose some weight before my cruise in a few weeks.

Hola! Just finishing some last minute packing this morning. SO excited to ski even if I'm not looking forward to cold temps...if that makes sense. My blood has gotten thin from living here the last 3 1/2 years.
Moe- who are you cruising with? How fun! Maria- I'm so bummed I am missing you...the one stupid weekend we are away! Colleen (Clare-I know we have more than one Colleen)- you were on my mind last night and I'm hoping you are ok.
Anyone heard from GoV lately?

Morning. Another crappy night's sleep for me too - same issue with the arm. KP and T gave me some ideas to try and alleviate it, did some last night before bed, will do more tonight. It was 1* for me this morning. Have not looked at the forecast for tomorrow. Will be trekking into NYC tomorrow for DS' show. I will be photographing the show a well.

Maria!!! -- have a GREAT time in Cali! Good luck in your race.
 
All is well in the Grossanopoulos world. There was a brief (like 1.5 second) dogfight in the house this morning, but I got all Alpha on them, and they stopped immediately. Everyone seems to be friends now. Funny. Wish people (including me) could put stuff behind them like dogs do.
 
Just further proof that dogs rule.
 
My class is going VERY well. I am heading to the school shortly to meet with a colleague (hopefully - he can be tough to track down), and to chat with someone about a Fellowship that is coming up. If I could become a full-time law professor, that would be SO much fun! What a great career.
 
After that -- heading to the gym for a while. busy weekend coming up. Going to the theater with Theia and Theiamom. We are catching a comedy performance by Kathleen Madigan. She's one of my favorite standups. I picked this show, so I'm REALLY hoping they enjoy themselves...
 
So - off to get some things accomplished!

Happy Friday Folks
 
Not much going on here, just by myself at work. Working the weekend too, blah. I cant fathom how you deal with the temps some of you are experiencing. It was 29 degrees when I left for work this morning and thats pretty dang cold for us here in the desert. Its supposed to warm back up to near normal Feb temps by Sunday. Im gonna try to squeeze in a bike ride before I have to go to work that morning.
 
Fort hose having sleeping issues, I hope things get better for you. Had some of those myself in December, not much fun.
 
Maria Good luck and have fun in Surf City. Im thinking I might do the full there next year if things go well btwn now and then. Youll have to let me know what you think of the course.
