Fun - my DS's premiere as a lead in a "real" community theater show is tonight. Not a kids show, but a regular production. I am very nervous for him, and hope he gets good reviews. Yes, he will have actual reviews in newspapers and all. Playing the young Dylan Thomas in "A Child's Christmas in Wales". That is him on the left.

Not fun - Today or Monday I should be getting a letter telling how much longer I have a job, how much severance I will get, and maybe an incentive package to stick around to work on migration projects.

So, my not fun this morning is my first experience with vertigo. Wow this really sucks. Started around 5 a.m. when I rolled over in bed and the room just kept a-rolling which made me nauseous and sweaty. I thought oh how weird, and figured it'd go away but alas, no. Fortunately I had my phone with me and did some Googling to find out what my problem was, called my Mom (who unfortunately is already on the road to Indiana - Seester Goon is running the Tecumseh Trail Marathon again this year! woo hoo!) then called the kids schools to let them know I was temporarily disabled with this vertigo and not able to get things going this morning, called work, called the doctor and called a friend to drive me there - my appt isn't until 10:40 so I have plenty of time to move slowly and get dressed and ready. Actually being vertical is much better, I still get the swimmy dizzy room spinning feeling but as long as move slowly and carefully it's not as frequent or as intense. Though I'm a little scared of what the car ride will be like. I better bring a bucket. I hope it goes away fast, I don't want to spend my weekend like this!!
